Poor recruitment and too engrained in a "style" or tactics and doesnt change when game needs it. Chasing equaliser and will sub the lone striker for another rather than throw caution and 2 up front etc. Reply |

Maybe in the longer term, he wants to move into coaching, and his contract with RR will afford him that opportunity. G Wardrope Reply |

Author: neils Date: Wed 12th Nov 2025. 22:28 They will have to overhaul the squad, with the number of contracts up at the end of the season, plus those on longer contracts are in decline, Paul McMullan is only 29, but he looks ancient! Plus his game time has declined the last 2 seasons or so. Easton played them well, using us to leverage a lengthy contract that no Championship should be offering to a 31 year old. Good for him. Hanlon also is another season. Is that an attractive option for a manager? What is Potters role in this also, he`s not a head coach at all, he`s been abysmal when he`s been there. Reply |

| 49. Author: neils Date: Thu 13th Nov 2025. 14:20 I`m sure you are right, and he is good at the job he is in, and as a coach there`s plenty who have praised him, he`s been pretty terrible as a manager though. Nothing wrong with that, not that many coaches are, and also I don`t care either way, he`s at the Wee Team They have rattled through the managers though, so it`s normal for that to raise a few eyebrows if he is the Director Of Football.
