10,000 crowd will be a great atmosphere. It will be a fantastic experience for our young players

Good draw for us in the next round. A very hard game, but
Hibs fans might see this tie as a potential banana skin.
We will give it a go, and you never know.

Exciting draw for our youngsters to test themselves.

All being well we should have the likes of Kearney, Cooper and Rudden back by then.

Hopefully some of the guys struggling might have found some form too.

The issues with the service at the catering outlets REALLY need sorted out before this kind of crowd though. 🙏

Yes, really looking forward to this one. A wee taste of the big time can`t do any harm at all. A wee break or two and who knows, might get an even bigger home draw for the next round.

Sky Scores app lists the game as 12am Saturday 17 Jan. Seems a bit early to be that definite.

EDIT: Oops, they've got all ties listed 12am, 17 Jan!

"Hib`s it" exists for a reason, we could very well, getting everything right, cause an upset.

Have we not knocked them out the last two times? 2007 semifinal replay and a few years before then in a replay at Easter Road. I reckon 2002/3, the season we beat them there three times.

Time to do it again.

I went to that game as an 8 year old kid. I remember the violence before hand and being terrified throughout the whole game.

It was a third round game wasn`t it? Haven`t the rounds changed due to the hunners of teams now in the tournament? The 3rd round used to be in January didn`t it?

It was my first away game I think. Train over and back but was only 10.

Must have missed the violence. That doesn’t sound good. I remember it well also. The open terrace and the large travelling band of supporters who were happy the Pars were on the up. Hibs were too strong that day, but let’s see how the seasoned Pros fair against the young lads. Gutted I will miss it as it is intriguing

I remember we drew Hibs at home in 1979. They were in the first division and we were in the second. I’m sure the game was on a Sunday and it was freezing. I think the players may have had trainers on instead of boots?
Mikey Leonard got our goal with a great volley. I never saw it hit the net as the crowd went up in anticipation in the north west.
Not sure what the crowd was, but it was packed.

Was running battles outside the ground, it was the height of the casual scene and both clubs had their elements out in force. Different days back then indeed it was an experience making it back to the buses over the so called bridge of doom. Not to condone football violence but I was glad our casuals were there for protection and gave as good as they got which wasn`t often the case at Easter Road back then.

Thats right Par.

We were walking down a street fairly quiet at this point and there was a Pars fan on his own walking infront of us (My uncle, cousin and me) this guy came running out of an alley way and grabbed the guys head and smashed it on a car roof. The Pars fan fell to the ground. My Uncle grabbed us and jogged to the bottom of the road with us. We then got to the bridge of doom and all hell broke loose, what seemed like hundreds of Hibs casuals came running at the Pars fans. I tripped up and cut my lip in the rammy. We got across the bridge and near Easter Road and there was mounted police on horses wacking folk and loads of fighting. Terrifying for an 8 year old going to their first away game. I told my Uncle after that game that I didn`t want to go back to the football. He wasn`t having it though and pushed me into going back. Never took me to Old Firm games or Hibs away again when we got promoted the year after to the Premier League for the first time.
