If we can maintain some decent form in the next couple of games, this could be our first capacity game at EEP in a good many years.

I thought we’d have shifted more than that. Maybe the time of year has had an impact.

The home end won`t sell out, and the tickets only went on general sale yesterday. I`d expect us to sell 5k by kick off l.

The kick off time and the fact its televised could also be a factor.

A lot of folk just can’t afford to get tickets for games at this time of year.

There was a 10 minute queue to get on our website today to buy tickets. Can only be a good thing.

All joking aside, I`m slightly concerned that there doesn`t seem to be anything in place stopping Hibs fans buying home tickets. If they sold their allowance so quickly, there`s obviously a big market still looking for tickets, and the home end can be bought by anyone with a bank card and Internet access.
I hope all home end tickets go to pars fans, but there`s potential for issues.

I`m not bothered 1 bit. If we can get a sell out I don`t care who buys the tickets.

Hibs home attendances around the 18,000, so obviously they will have a bigger number looking for tickets.

The club obviously want to put as many bums on seats as possible.

Having away fans in home sections is far from ideal, however if it’s that or empty seats it’s down to straightforward economics.

Club just confirmed over 8000 tickets have been sold. Away end sold out.
Home tickets still available.

The Hibbys love a wee trip to EEP. Saying that, there are loads of Hibs and Hearts fans that live locally. They were always going to sell their end out.

Terrible idea. The 4500 tickets they’ve been given is a great allocation. They shouldn’t be allowed anywhere near the home sections.

Do you seriously think the club will turn away paying customers because home fans don`t buy up their allocation ?

Are you seriously implying that home and away fans should just be mixed? Does this go for every game or just hibs? Shall we have the norrie topped up with Falkirk fans next time they sell out the away end? Segregation exists for a very obvious reason

How will the club be able to tell the difference?
