Would the attendance really improve? Family holidays, etc., and people tend to plan more when it`s nicer weather than the winter months. What would happen in the Euros and WC years?

The evidence of the Cup fixtures in July would point to no on this one, for the reasons mentioned above.

I went to the Sweden game at hampden in euro 202(0)1. This was the summer and it was cold.

I don't think for smaller teams we would be better off playing summer football.

This is Andy Tod`s world and we are lucky to live in it.

I think losses due to holidays would be more than balanced by folk going, who don`t like the cold. More families, and visitors to the City as there is fk all else to do.

It’s 2026….

People go holidays all year round.

I just think it may be worth trying summer football. Give it a go & see if it works. Start with the lower leagues so it doesn’t interfere with European football & take it from there.

And how exactly does this tie in with the Scottish and English Premier leagues, who pull the purse strings?

Yeah just saw that on Facebook Sun Sport, strange that Aberdeen game going ahead due to apparent armagedon in the Aberdeen area.

Also saying that it's due to accident on A9!

We’ve had some light rain and slight thaw locally - that on top of hard playing surface at Livi might have made the pitch tricky ?

Yeah all weather pitches can still be lethal on a hard frost.
Maybe change the name mind you 😉
