ICE agents aren’t just going to get away with murder the same as the guy who killed Ashli Babbitt didn’t just get away with it. Of course those who have carried it out should be punished to the full extent of the law. But I can also accept that Alex Pretti must surely have known he was putting his own life in significant danger by getting involved. There has been clear evidence that the ICE agents are taking the law into their own hands over the past few weeks. If I am going to protest and make a point, I am not sure I am going to do it with a set of armed officers who are happy to act outside the law, and appear to have political support to act with a level of impunity. It is an absolutely tragedy. Reply

No. Just there’s a difference between protesting and intervening on a squad of law enforcement officials following through on arrests. Edit : just to be clear - I’m also pointing out that when the situation suits people’s preconceived notions or bias, they are more than happy to see something from a different perspective. So let’s be clear, the DOJ is blocking Minnesota’s Bureau of Criminal Apprehension from investigating or accessing evidence and crime scenes (which is unusual to say the least). Almost immediately following these shootings Vance and Noem are (in combination) stating that ICE agents have total immunity, labeling the victims as domestic terrorists, making unsupported statements about the victims intent, drawing their own conclusions from video evidence and stating as fact. Their investigations are worthless. The only person not being investigated in Renee Good’s shooting is the person that pulled the trigger. I’ve just watched Bovino completely mischaracterize multiple videos. Lies. Lies. Lies. Maybe get would up about that. Reply

Will they be worthless then? The problem with the Renee Goode one is both her and her wife were antagonistic towards the ICE agents. She didn’t listen to them when they told her to get out the vehicle and she drove the car into the agent - whether she meant it or not. I suspect that the Renee Goode shooting will be judged as justifiable whereas the shooting of Alex Peretti will not. I still think they should not have been getting involved in ICE agents apprehending whoever it is they’re trying to apprehend. By all means join the protests, vote them out of power and everything else you’re allowed to do. Nobody from protests are being arrested unfairly. Only issues is when people are trying to interfere in an ICE operation. COYP Reply

People in the US still have the right to protest the government`s actions. There are also mechanisms over there for when their federal government over-reaches, it is not limited to voting. One refused to stop and get out her vehicle and drove forward and hit the ACE officer ,using her vehicle as a weapon ,,,one was carrying two loaded weapons ,,,,put yourself in either of these officers position .Politics again the mayors of these cities removed their police force ,who are also required to protect other agency officers , ACE Has removed so may illegal immigrants with serious violations such as murder,drug traffing ,child trafficing ,and rapes .If you enter any country in the world illegaly then its a crime ,so deserved 100% to be arrested .This is happening every single day at the U K. Borders and we do nothing .At least TRUMP makes a call Reply
