How stupid do they look when 2 managers they have sacked are sitting above them in the league, one of whom is top with a good chance of winning, and they are approaching a manager currently below them in the league? He seems to be a manager that wants to finish a project before moving on. I think that is promotion to the premier league regardless of how we do in the cup. I think everyone has an ego, but with this project I think he is actually quite humble. The emotion in his words and face on Saturday’s interview told a story and I think he is confident in his beliefs more than it being ego. Totally agree that I think he wants to see it through and the aim is the Premier League. Will be an interesting last couple of months of the season. Reply

The alternative is Celtic beat them and Saints in a relegation playoff. Might seem a no win scenario but he’s putting himself first and a new challenge.
