On Andrew - "struggling, out for a considerable period" & " we`ll have to give it some though for next week" . Contradictory, but obviously wants to keep his cards close to his chest
JCM - "groin problem, stomach problem so he`s a big doubt".

It`s a bit of mumbly interview on COWS but did NL say JCM and AT were touch and go for next week?

No. Andy Tod is done. Out for considerable amount of time. Sound like season over for him.

JCM a doubt with stomach/grion problem. A falling to bits injury wise unfortunately.

If we set up and play like that on Tuesday we will lose again.

Listening to Lenny`s interview, you couldn`t fancy we`ll be up for Tuesday and that`s not a criticism, next weekend is big and the run we`ve had has given him that privilege.

JCM & Andrew out would be a seekner... but Turley & Cooper have filled in and done the business for us before. We really can`t afford to lose anyone else though

Let’s hope there’s no reaction after the game for Morrison

Abdulai might be out too as no update on his injury, really can’t afford to have him and Mullen out

Interpreted it that Tod out for the semi final and Mullen with a groin injury unlikely as well.

The ‘give it some thought going into next week’ I reckon is how we manage in their absence rather than any hope of them being fit.

Thought John Tod was brilliant in defence and attack, with a few glitches. But he definitely has something special. Morrison caught the eye when he came on, he looks very sharp.

Just have to rise to the challenge and put faith in the players selected for next Saturday. Its a team effort at the end of the day and it takes a team to win the game. Just have to remain positive and not complacent or defeatist. It will be about team spirit.

it will be a far weaker line up on Tuesday and likely the same the following Tuesday as well with the Queens Park game after that potentially being a season decider.

right now the playoffs are far from secured.

Of course its strange, Ayr lose they cannot catch us. It`s simple. There really is no benefit finishing 3rd or 4th, apart from a bit extra money. We got to play home and away, if it was a one of tie and getting 3rd meant a home tie I`d u understand. But its not. Airdrie are a banker for tuesday, do u really think Lennon selects a stronger starting line up than today??? I`d imagine Lucas, J.Tod, Bene and probably Terrell gets a start. We can`t afford any injuries to any more important players. Imo, once the semi is done, win or lose, we need to get points to secure 4th minimum.

Ayr beating Arbroath is a good result. Arbroath in their recent form are more likely to drop out the top 4 than us.

“There really is no benefit finishing 3rd or 4th”

Huh?
A play off spot with a chance to go up to the Premiership isn’t a benefit?

Which you get for finishing 4th.

Half a dozen likely starters for next week missing and any on the fringes will not have done their chances much good based on that.

Arbroath have only won 1 of their last 8 (and lost the last 3 games). Queens Park and Raith have been in better form but hopefully they all take points off each other.

Lennon uncharacteristically coy regarding all 3 of Abdulai, Mullen and Tod’s injuries. When Olly Thomas had his scan he was immediately ruled out for the season. Rudden was quickly ruled out for the season as well.
