We know it’s 100k more and we know the 2nd leg is at home but Lenny (understandably) looks to be placing more importance on getting to the PL rather than finishing 3rd. Reply |

The issue is really around the SFA, the league structure and the numbers of games clubs are expected to play in a short time. The unintended consequence of the more success you have the more games you play and the more likely you are to pick up player injuries. Thats a facet of the football structure in this country. NL is a winner with a winning mentality so these types of challenges that are out of your control must be frustrating. To be honest, I would have hoped that a draw was a feasible result against PT, but thats football. Whatever pans out over the next few weeks, I see considerable improvement over previous seasons both players and collectively as a team. We do have players injured but that presents opportunity for other players to step up and take the chance that comes their way. G Wardrope Reply |

I’m fairly sure Mullen was just rested yesterday and he’ll start the semi. It’s Abdulai and Tod that are more of a concern for me. No mention of a scan for Abdulai. Could it just be mind games?
