104. Author: Jock Par36 Date: Tue 14th Apr 2026. 21:44 Considering we were 2 down, and playing with a 2cd string team, a 2-2 draw against a team fighting for their championship status is a good result. Reply

110. Author: FA1968 Date: Tue 14th Apr 2026. 21:51 Excellent result for such a young makeshift team. Nervy start but grew into the game, Abdulai and Amade were superb in the middle of the pitch. Well done young uns…..and Bene who steadied a nervy defence. Reply

| 115. Author: coventrypar Date: Tue 14th Apr 2026. 22:02 Bringing Bene on was needed or we were going to get pumped. Turley was struggling before his *cough injury. Abdulai in a forward midfield was entertaining. Fyfe did himself proud. Tod in a more forward position was good. Davidson needed a fair few minutes ie a half to find his feet Amade sorted out the midfield. Cooper is a player And we lacked a true forward Happy with a well earned point. | 116. Author: kozmasrightfoot Date: Tue 14th Apr 2026. 22:02 We`ve scored the same amount of goals as Partick and only conceded 6 more but have 16 points less than them. That right there is one strange statistic. Anyway, 5 ahead of Raith (realistically the only team with a slight chance of catching up), 7 or 8 ahead in goal difference effectively making it 6 points. 9 points to play for, I think even a pragmatic pessimist like myself can safely say we have a 92.3% of finishing in a play off place. We could very well be playing Arbroath 3 times in a row if they don`t collapse. Fife will be stinking of smoked kippers for months (I think their is a Black Blackadder joke in there somewhere but names escape me). We may not get promoted but the experience will be useful next season if we don`t succeed. Lennon will need to come up with a different game plan to bear Partick if we get that far as so far we`ve taken 1 point from 12 and are several players down. Come on you PAAAaaaarrrs!!! Pars fan. Magpies fan. Mens tennis fan. Alternative rock fan. Not a fan of much else. Reply |
117. Author: red-star-par Date: Tue 14th Apr 2026. 22:04 That must be one of the youngest ever starting line ups we have had, and we have had a few in recent years. By my reckoning we had an average age of 20 tonight. Lucas Fyfe just turned 17 last month. I could see some big money being flung about for him by some English side for their young team. I was anxiously looking at the table a few times during that game but that point should be enough, we would really need to lose each game (which is possible) and they would need to win at least 2 games from their 3 tough remaining games Reply
118. Author: Indiapar1 Date: Tue 14th Apr 2026. 22:04 That was a good point. Tge first goal was a very well worked goal. Second was a great cross onto the feet of Lucas. Great to see him get his first goal. A good performance considering several players have had limited game time. I thought they grew into the game as it went on. A well deserved point in the end. Tash struggled a bit but not his natural position. I think that the bigger pitch Saturday will suit him especially in his more natural position. Its going to be about pace and the ability to hold the ball Saturday on the bigger pitch. Its a big point and sets us up for a third place finish. Its in our hands. G Wardrope Reply

120. Author: onandupthepars Date: Tue 14th Apr 2026. 22:13 If only Bene hadn`t done `a Wanyama` that gifted them 2nd goal. But he was good otherwise. Fyfe has made the grade. Kearney and Nurudeen worked a bit o` magic leading to our first goal. They just need to do it more often. I like Nuru in that more forward role he played second half. Amade done good stuff - tackling and passing. Cooper was bright and eager, almost scored another. J. Tod very good. Everyone else was decent. NL clearly had an impact in the half time talk, because we were more of a unit and got intae their ugly mugs more second half. Reply
