Topic: Incoming players .

Seeing lots of clubs moving early to bring in players . Be great to see a few arrive at the Pars in the coming days /weeks . I know we’d be holding off in terms of Scottish cup and play off , but surly now it’s the time to act and bring in GK and sticker at least asap (help boost a few season tick sales etc )

Not even heard any rumours of who might be incoming !

Imagine a lot of work is going on behind the scenes. We may have to wait as players will be weighing up their options. Hopefully we get 2-3 in for preseason training.

Not knowing what league we would be in would have an affect I would imagine.

I don`t think we had many if any rumours about incoming signings last summer until they were basically confirmed.

i`d rather we kept our business under the radar and pick up a couple of quality players. We have a strong base for next season and 3-4 players will make up the rest, unless we lose anyone else to contract issues.

That is true, but I would have thought they would at least have a plan A and plan B in mind prior to the playoff semi finals.

As happens every year and at all clubs, interest, talks and negotiations have been in the planning for 2-3 months......

Is the `window` open yet? I thought I read that it opens officially on 15 June? That shouldn`t prevent clubs announcing agreed deals though.

Mullen and Ngwenya negotiations still ongoing so lots will depend on how that plays out as far as finances go as I think they are being offered a fair amount of money in their wage packet to stay on.
They are key to success next season as well as getting big Ox onboard.
We have shown by and large in the last quarter of this past season we don’t lose many goals with a solid defence including Abdulai.

I don`t imagine too many Pars fans had Amade or Abdulai on their bingo cards this time last year. Also, most of us would have bet against a team with three Tod(d)s in it and Kieran being a top contender for POTY.

NL talked about how important the overseas pre-season trip to Bulgaria was last season. I`d guess he wants something similar this season with as many of the signings as possible wrapped up.

We`d all like some early announcements, but I`m quite excited to see some unexpected and unknown faces.

I think we will have players identified, and possibly early negotiations but we are now looking at a level of player who has options. Our targets have time to play with.

Spot on Blacklight. Both on last seasons surprise packages and on the excitement factor at the unknowns and trusting the system.

Bringing players in quickly probably means they’re available without other good options on the table. Patience will mean being competitive and convincing in the market to get the best quality of players we can for a promotion push.

Patience is key and I trust Mr Lennon, Cook and Bord who know what they’re doing.

You want a transfer rumour? Here`s a couple for you, if Kieran and Jeremiah don`t sign on....

Valentine Ozornwafor, 27, Centre Back, capped by Nigeria

Martin Hristov, 22, Centre Back, Bulgarian U21 international

Sebastian Wade, 23, English/ Spanish Centre Back.
