| 3. Author: jake89 Date: Mon 29th Jun 2026. 20:38 Hope he can continue to develop there. I also trust Lennon and Co will already have assumed he was leaving and begun looking elsewhere. Reply |
| 4. Author: Dave_1885 Date: Mon 29th Jun 2026. 20:53 Hopefully works out for him, but I fear a move made for financial reasons. Could have easily stepped up to an SPL club and tried to make a name for himself towards Scotland call ups. Fear is he gets lost in League One. Reply |
| 5. Author: Berkey Date: Mon 29th Jun 2026. 21:00 Yeah time will tell if he makes an impression there. Fagan walcot moved for £1m to hearts which got me thinking, I think he was a better defender than mullan when at the pars. We won’t have too many problems replacing him. The post below replying to me is by one of .nets finest champions of mediocrity! Reply |

Otherwise why go to a League One team who finished 16th last term!!! I also noticed that Fraser Murray is also at Wigan. Good luck to the lad, hope he gets the right development he certainly needs at this stage of his early career. Reply |
| 8. Author: Hoolie Date: Mon 29th Jun 2026. 21:52 I think a lot of pars fans are deluded..Mullen has been in the Scotland U21 squad and trained with the first team. Wigan is a massive step up from us playing the likes of Raith and Arbroath every week.. Imo he will be on decent money and progress..if not then still decent money playing in that league.. Reply |
| 9. Author: king lad Date: Mon 29th Jun 2026. 22:24 Similar to Josh Edwards, he`ll massively improve his wages, the competition level he`s playing against and should hopefully develop as a result. English League 1 is a much much better level than the Scottish championship. You`d hope he can move up the leagues and break into the Scotland squad given our lack of decent defenders. Reply |
| 10. Author: AdamAntsParsStripe Date: Mon 29th Jun 2026. 22:46 It must be financial reasons as Aberdeen were obviously very interested in him. Gary Caldwell being at Wigan is another reason I’d imagine. He’s off so good luck Jerry and time to focus on replacements for him and Ngwenya. Said it countless times but wish him the best of luck and hope he continues to develop enough to become a main stay in the national side soon. | 12. Author: sammy_shuffle Date: Tue 30th Jun 2026. 01:42 An old army colleague of mine comes from and supports wigan. Follows them home and away. He messaged me earlier for a chat about jcm. He said Wigan are basically skint and wouldn`t be offering that big wages. I said even so probably more than us He`s probably a replacement for Jason Kerr who has joined hibs. He also said that at the moment they develop young players and try to sell them on. Apparently they have sold their last sellable assett a goalkeeper called Sam tickle to Bristol city for an undisclosed fee. Reply |
