| 7. Author: red-star-par Date: Fri 7th Aug 2026. 21:11 I always liked Matt Todd, but in my opinion he was always a very limited player, a League One player really. I think what brought him up a level, was his love for The Pars, that extra effort he put in as he loved the club. I didn`t think he was worth giving a new deal to, if we want to move up a level. Fair play to him getting a contract with a Premiership Club, hope it works out for him but I have a feeling he will find his level back in League One when his contract expires Reply |
| 8. Author: Indiapar1 Date: Fri 7th Aug 2026. 21:19 I thought he really improved 2nd half of the season. I don`t see him being 1st choice at St J if I am honest, and I think he is the type of player who needs to play consistently. At his age, he had to take his opportunity when it came along so I hope he does well. G Wardrope Post Edited (Sat 08 Aug 08:31) Reply |
| 9. Author: Berkey Date: Fri 7th Aug 2026. 21:45 Certainly put the effort in for us but as mentioned was limited but had an eye for goal and a decent first touch. Another who didn’t have a dedicated position, not a good enough final ball a trick or pace for the wing, not quite good enough for central midfield and not really a number 10. Part of the reason we are improving is we have players who play a dedicated position these days instead of jack of all trades types who we fudge in and expect to perform.
