I was just pointing out to people who have previously criticised his work rate to reconsider. Personally I prefer each player to be individual and therefore offer something different and that is the joy of football, but each to their own. Reply |

94. Author: Berry Date: Fri 28th Aug 2026. 22:30 Thought we played really well but again struggled in the final third to create opportunities at times, we really do need to find a formula where we give ourselves more chances. But that was a good start, controlled pretty much all of the game, Abdulai and Harding look solid at the back, Fraser and Lobban, the latter in particular has been exceptional, really good acquisition. Rudden was really poor tonight, I’ve not really seen a positive performance since back from injury. Two excellent saves from Ox, especially the first, the second was caused by Oyirwoth trying a casual flick over a player, he’ll learn from that. I’ve criticised Tod this season, stand by it, but credit where it’s due, he played very well tonight when he came on, maybe a drop to the bench is the boost he needs, more of that performance then I’d be happy to see him back in the lineup. Cooper is one of those players who is a brilliant impact sub, but doesn’t shine when given the opportunity to start, think he’ll get another shot soon with Morrisons performances who continue to be poor. Special shout out to Bray, the last two fixtures he’s started and didn’t look out of place and been one of the better players. Table looks a bit better tonight! Reply

97. Author: Bamba-Daft Date: Fri 28th Aug 2026. 22:48 Brilliant result and thoroughly deserved. Outstanding saves from Oxborough, he’s top class & the best keeper we’ve had for years. Thought Amade and Oyirwoth were good, Adams offered 10x as much as Ollie Shaw did last week. He was involved in everything and his work rate was superb (no idea what game the guy who said he was lazy watched). Andy Tod the difference maker when he came on for me, just looked so dangerous every time he touched the ball. A straight swap for Rudden next week please. He tries hard but he’s just not very good. Morrison was hopeless again, absolutely nothing came off for him tonight. All in all a very positive overall performance & something to build on now. I’ve said all week, we don’t look terrible.. it just wasn’t clicking. Hopefully that’s the start of it! Reply
98. Author: da_no_1 Date: Fri 28th Aug 2026. 22:48 Really pleased tonight. Lennon bossed it with his selection and formation. Imrie shat the bed relying on hoofball. SCH and Abdulai were absolutely outstanding at the back. Really like the look of Lobban. Bray was brilliant early on but faded second half but did enough to show he belongs in the team. Adams looked a real handful if a wee bit raw. The subs were all excellent. Tod set the goal up on the half way line finding Lobban. Coopers finish was excellent. Special mention for Oxborough just doing what he does. Best keeper in the league. "Some days will stay a 1000 years, some pass like the flash of a spark" Reply
99. Author: TAFKA_Super_Petrie Date: Fri 28th Aug 2026. 22:50 Draw probably fair result there but good we were able to nick it. Thought Abdulai and Lobban were really good (upgrade on Kearney) and Morrison and Rudden at the other end of that spectrum. --------------------------------------------------------------- ![]() [b]"People always talk about Ronaldinho and magic, but I didn't see him today. Author: shellypar Date: Fri 28th Aug 2026. 22:50 Jeffery, Fri 28 Aug 22:16 Tbf i dont think he had a good opportunity tbf, he seems quite wild and unpredictable, some excellent touches at times, defo a different type of striker to the others imo and if he adds to his game could be a top player for us COYP Reply
