Dead man walking. I assume he went to Wigan to be nearer “home” and of course a wage rise. What puzzles me is the fanfare he was given when he signed including the No 4 shirt. Yet he’s had a total of 6 minutes so far this season (not counting the U21 Aston Villa match). I suspect his career is stalling. The pressure is certainly on Caldwell, I see he was yellow carded early in the game. He`s been there 6 weeks, maybe a little premature to say his career is stalling. Maybe isn`t fit or picked up a knock in pre-season which delayed him or 1 million other reasons. C'mon Ye Pars! Reply

23. Author: wee eck Date: Wed 2nd Sep 2026. 20:15 Matty Todd is at RB tonight for SJ at Dens Park. No sign of JCM in Wigan squad at home to MK Dons. Last night Otoo was at LB for Rotherham and Ngwenya came on in extra time after Rotherham hsd scored a late equaliser at Tranmere. Reply

26. Author: Dave_1885 Date: Sat 19th Sep 2026. 12:48 Mullen hasn’t featured since for Wigan, being named only to the bench during a 4-0 thrashing at home by Stockport and wasn’t on bench v Sheff Weds last weekend. Has been called up to Scotland U21s so don’t think he is injured. Reply
