82. Author: Lucho_8 Date: Sat 5th Sep 2026. 18:11 That’s 3 teams already this season that have played quite or very poorly against us and have taken points from us. Ayr, Arbroath and Livi. Reply

| 84. Author: Berkey Date: Sat 5th Sep 2026. 18:24 Cooper has single handedly won us half our league points so far. We’re clearly not cut throat enough to be a top 3 side but at least we didn’t crumble when we went 1-0 down as has happened before. Looking forward to Thomas coming in, as ever too nice upfront and lacking that bit of intelligence and movement to help facilitate the type of ball cooper scored from. Hopefully Kane can start more games he’s the only one who works his socks off and has the quality to make things happen. | 86. Author: Jeffery Date: Sat 5th Sep 2026. 18:36 I think if we`d scored the first goal today we might have won by 2 or 3 clear. With them scoring first they could just continue to waste time, as they had done from the start. We were brilliant at times in the first half, Oyirwoth was running rings around them and Abdullai was a rock. How unlucky was his scissor kick... The team though still look a bit dysfunctional at times. Passing it back and forth across the back can be painful to watch, as you can see it`s giving the opposition time to get 11 men behind the ball. I`d like to see the midfielders/forwards (wide and central) bursting a gut to get into space so the pass can be forward. At times we`re like a rugby team where you can run forward with the ball for a bit, however passes always have to be backwards. The choices out wide also frustrate me. Tod, Rudden and Adams (second half) when out wide don`t seem to want to just take a touch and get a cross in, or hit the byline and just drive the ball in. They don`t really think like wingers. If those crosses were expected then Shaw/Kane would know to run across their man, or the midfielders could make a late run. Some of the touches in those wide areas were quite poor. Have to give some credit to Arbroath, they were solid and hard to break down. Ryan Flynn was excellent, just always in the right place. Michael McKenna looked more like the player from 2 or 3 years ago. Reply |

88. Author: Indiapar1 Date: Sat 5th Sep 2026. 19:47 Some of the football we played had Arbroatb chasing shadows. Better movement today in the final third, but what is still missing is testing the keeper and getting in some early xrosses to pressure defences. G Wardrope Reply
89. Author: Berry Date: Sat 5th Sep 2026. 19:47 It was a game where if Tod took his chances we’d have won it comfortably, those were the kind of chances we should be feeding Oli Shaw when he’s fit. You have to bury the first one, looked like he stopped thinking he was offside before refocusing. Second shot should be on target, pretty poor. I’m not convinced on Adams and Rudden at the moment Adams puts in a shift and got himself about, he did well, but don’t recall him ever being a goal threat, he also plays like his brain is a few seconds behind his feet. It’s hard to be too critical as we dominated the game and couldn’t have looked more comfortable. Abdulai and SCH look a great back two. Just very frustrated, with QP and Morton next we have to be getting six points. Reply
90. Author: Indiapar1 Date: Sat 5th Sep 2026. 20:02 In comparison to this time last season, performance wise we have stepped up a notch. Midfield and defence we are really solid. I agree with NL the forwards needs to make that next step and put the ball in the back of the net. G Wardrope Reply
91. Author: neils Date: Sat 5th Sep 2026. 20:21 What can I say, thoroughly enjoyed the day out, and we played brilliantly at times, but without the real cutting edge. Tod missing the 2 big chances, if we were more clinical would have won easily. Some great football played, great to watch and if we eventually click we will be fine. Still my favourite away ground, good fans, Arbroath I felt were dominated but eventually made a game of it. Reply
92. Author: Parsdaft Date: Sat 5th Sep 2026. 21:16 Need a bit more urgency going forward, I lost count on the amount of times we were one one one with the defender out wide and don’t think our payers took the gamble. Far to safe passing back or sideways. Reply

94. Author: Angus_W Date: Sat 5th Sep 2026. 21:35 A frustrating day….. If we play like that and get a few breaks we will demolish teams. Our goal was probably our best move of the game an absolute joy to watch. It’s still a difficult place to get a result. You’ve seen the Pars now please go home! Reply
95. Author: Hoolie Date: Sat 5th Sep 2026. 22:10 We have a solid defence and midfield..Mondays practice just put Ox in goals and say to the forwards hit the ball into the goals…it’s not rocket science!! Put the lot of them in shooting practice every day for the week… Reply
96. Author: DAFCinBK Date: Sat 5th Sep 2026. 22:13 Some great play in that game, first half especially. Also some frustrating play. Need a finisher in the starting 11, a classic number 9, kane or maybe thomas. Rudden the major disappointment today. Others made mistakes but also contributed a lot at times. Rudden just looks woeful. Also, if we could work on corners it would add a lot. In past years, andy tod, norrie, skerla, geggan etc you could envisage the occasional goal from a corner. Now...? Need much more from set pieces. Reply

Between the signings and a backroom staff resembling an NFL / MLB team that the owners have provided we must be absolutely hemorrhaging £££. --------------------------------------------------------------- ![]() [b]"People always talk about Ronaldinho and magic, but I didn't see him today. | 99. Author: da_no_1 Date: Sat 5th Sep 2026. 22:58 We did score a great goal but its like we try to score a goal like that every time we have possession. We don`t score simple goals. We carry absolutely zero threat from set pieces. We really need to mix it up. "Some days will stay a 1000 years, some pass like the flash of a spark" Reply |
