I missed the Rovers game and it feels like ages since I have been at East End. Are the under21s and under 18s also playing that weekend?

They have a game on Sept 30th…..Not sure if any players called up could play against Partick then join the squad ? I would imagine AT and SCH will be in the squad and probably Kearney for Eire…. assuming they are playing on same date..

What an opportunity we missed in 2014.

The club has requested the postponement of the Partick and Stenny games, according to the Dunfermline Press.

Playing catch up with fixtures is what cost us last season

I thought that pehaps the squad depth we have this season will overcome the compressed schedule towards the end of the season.

Those were scheduled games for a team who qualified for play offs and had a cup run to the final. None of them were rescheduled league game which parsfan97 was alluding to.
I think I am right in saying that one of those game, Airdrie away 2-2 is when Turley picked up the injury that ruled him out of the final. Regardless of squad size it is never a good thing having a few games in hand and having to squeeze them into the end of season when we will hopefully have playoff games to look forward to again…..unless we finish top…

Would you rather play Partick with Upto 4/5 starters missing?

We do have a big squad but I suppose if we lose too many in the same positions we`re really struggling.

A.Tod
J.Tod
Kearney
Lobban
SCH
Amade
Oyirwoth

...are away or could be away I think.

We maybe have enough cover to make up a starting lineup but it`s a real struggle should anything then happen to those covering.

Read what he actually said. Not what you think he alluded to. Our management team dealt with these rescheduled games quite well, so much so that we all enjoyed the end of the season quite a lot. So these rescheduled games didn`t "cost us"

My favourite end of season game was the 2-2 draw with Airdrie when a lot of the young lads had a run out. Very enjoyable.
Result wise the favourite was against F***irk.

The squad depth certainly helps with dealing with fixture backlog and congestion.

Would be madness to not ask for the original games to be moved and losing some of our best players all at the same time.

Anyone not wanting a reschedule with Oyirworth, Amade, Lobban and SCH away should report to the headmasters office for extra lessons.

I don’t see how anyone can look and say the fixture congestion harmed us more than just normal games on every Saturday injuries happen but I think the best spell we had was when games were coming left right and centre and we only really starting rotating heavily when we made the play offs and knew we could the 2-2 against airdrie wasn’t as bad of a team as people are letting on and we still picked up a point and also got really close to winning it in the end

Oyirwoth is in the Uganda squad and they have 4 games to play. Amade is confirmed in the Mozambique squad who have 2 games to play.
