The game changed for me when Adams, Amade and Oyirwoth went off as we won nothing in the final third. Tod definitely needs dropped again, was very poor today and looked well off it. Macleod looked a step up fae Morrison too. Anyone know who the lad was signing autographs at half time, short boy with dreadlocks? Assuming it’s a new loan signing? Author: Berkey Date: Sat 12th Sep 2026. 17:21 Good first half with a well taken first goal where for once we worked it well into the feet of the striker who laid it off and the ball in was good. The 2nd goal was an absolutely howler from their keeper from a shot straight at him. 2nd half we were really poor, took foot off the gas and struggled to string many passes together and control the game. Lack of movement from Adam’s at times and thought cooper goal aside struggled to do anything in the game. We were lucky in the end not to concede as we fell to pieces at times. We still have too many players playing the easy ball back or a first time ball back when in space to turn and we have a passenger in Tod who looks a level below the rest at the moment but I guess we’re just going to play him until he finds some form or hope a nice wee article in the press on how he’s turned the corner will get him into form . A number of times today players chose the option to pass to him rather than play a better ball which tells you they are at least trying to help him but in some respects it’s making is worse as when he’s off it his level is not championship standard. Queens a stuffy team but Lenny should not happy with that 2nd half, this squad is capable than better then he’s getting from them. Post Edited (Sat 12 Sep 17:26) Reply |

Disappointing second half to be honest and Lennon better acknowledge that post match. Abdulai deserved MOM. Good to see McLeod back on the wing. Subs were strange to say the least. We dropped off the game when Adams went off. He's mad as a balloon but the ball stuck to him first half. Our strikers really need to start shooting instead of always trying to find a pass. A 2-0 victory, albeit we’ll struggle to play against a worse team for the remainder of the season. Agree the subs killed the momentum but we were never in any danger of conceding, he could have sat 2 players down without bringing subs on and they wouldn’t have scored. Very accomplished performance! Only criticism is trying to walk the ball in when there’s space for a shot! Reply |

Total control of the game & some really nice moves with lots of movement off the ball. It’s good to see them tactically mix it up, if a pass isn’t on the CHs bring the ball forward giving us more options. Some of the passing & interplay between the back 4 was a joy to watch. The squad has some depth in it now & our bench is really strong. ….but we have to make it count, more goals please Pars. You’ve seen the Pars now please go home! Reply |

Author: Buster_Brown Date: Sat 12th Sep 2026. 18:56 Well, well, well… I thought we were on the verge of giving someone a doing, and the way the first half was panning out, I thought today was going to be the day. But I’m happy with the three points regardless. The football this side are capable of playing is up there with the best I’ve ever seen at East End, and I’ve been going since ’87. The levels some of these guys can play to is frightening, and how we’ve managed to get some of this squad is beyond me. Despite the moaners behind me, if you can’t appreciate the football we played for long spells today, then really you should find something else to do on a Saturday. My big criticism of Lennon last season was that, despite his relative success, I didn’t really know what type of team we were. Well, today, once again, that identity was stamped all over us. We’re a team that wants to control the ball, play through the zones and then look to get it wide in the final third and it’s fantastic to watch. When it all properly clicks, it’s going to be frightening. There were no failures in the team today, although I didn’t think the subs really worked. Oyirworth is going to be a star. If he and a couple of others ended up playing in the EPL one day, it genuinely wouldn’t shock me. I think Adams still looks raw, but like Abdulai, I could watch him play all day because he just looks so happy to be out there and clearly loves it. There was a bit right in front of me where he managed to control a ball, the North Stand all went “yyeeeeaa”, then he gave it away and everyone went “aawww” and you could see him laughing away, just living life. Rory gave us everything Callumn Morrison doesn’t and had a great game…and I could go on and on, through the whole starting 11. Anyway…it’s getting there. Yes, we should have scored more and made the afternoon a lot more comfortable than it was, but it’s definitely getting there. I still remain optimistic that we’re heading for a successful season, and I genuinely can’t wait to see where some of these players’ careers end up. He played well today." i wouldnt say he played well but he wasnt any worse than the other forwards used thats for sure, the level of criticism though isnt a surprise from some comfortable first half but the usual problems in the second in the final third with too many needless touches and too many wrong decisions from the midfield and forward players, the subs and slight change of shape made sense but didnt work with those players. some were saying it was a must win, well its a win, on to next week then Post Edited (Sat 12 Sep 19:44) Reply |

We thought generally much better today around the box. More of a willingness to shoot today. It may not always come off, but there is always the chance of a deflection, rebound from the keeper or pushed around the post for a corner. That is much better than getting into those positions and basding sideways and backwards. Its a percentages game after all.
