Bit early is it not? Also worth noting that some folk have only heard of Beckenbauer because of FIFA so have no way of agreeing or disagreeing. Calm down, young fella! 😄 I only said he reminds me of a young Beckenbauer (in the way he brings the ball out from the back). He has a very long way to go yet. And QP are not the worst team in the Championship. There`s no argument about it. Have a look at the table. It really rips my knitting when folk detract from our team`s performances by suggesting that the opposition was very poor. Queens Park had taken 4 pts from 2 games before yesterday, including a draw at Frirhill.... 🙄 😂 Fair play! From the teams I’ve seen us play this season I genuinely think QP were a step below everyone. I said to my dad at the start of the second half - it looks like men against boys. I’m not trying to detract from our own team but that felt like easy mode yesterday. If I was a QP supporter going home, I’d be very worried about the season ahead. COYP Reply

I think I would put Arbroath in the same category, and I suspect Morton too. I watch the highlights of the RR and Arbroath game and they looked pretty poor albeit they were down to 10 men and went immediately lost another goal.to go 3 down The other way to look at this of course is to say we are an improved team and dominated Arbroath abeit we struggled to score Hopefully we can do that v Morton next week. Just balancing up the negativity with a bit positivity. So unless he signs an extension between now and Jan 28 ….15 months time … he can sign a pre contract with another club and we get hee haw…hopefully we can get him and Fraser to sign extensions soon. Think they will wait to see what league we are playing in next season though.. What an opportunity we missed in 2014. Reply

Franz Beckanbauer was a superb player but the only time I saw him play apart from on tv, he and Gerd Muller were humbled at Ibrox by the mighty Rangers. But I was indeed glad to have seen him in real life. I don`t advise Nurudeen to stroll about at the back like Franz because the game might just be a bit more high press now but he continues to shine and we get the best out of the other 10, it might just be a great season.
