Author: Berry Date: Sat 19th Sep 2026. 19:18 Not long back and disagree that it was a poor performance, we controlled that game for the majority, for a very heavy pitch we were patient, knocked the ball about well, only frustration is not taking more efforts at goal for the possession we had that being said we had some opportunities we should be putting away. Our defence is solid, our midfield was solid, but up front we continue to be toothless - for all the effort Adams puts in he doesn’t really affect the game and it’s clear he’s not a natural goalscorer, with the first really good opportunity at his feet for him to panic a bit and blooter it over the bar. Tod was again ineffective, not sure how he or Adams also didn’t bury the rebound in the second half. I think both would benefit from bench time again, with Shaw back, perhaps him and Kane instead. The short corners are frustrating, although ironically I can’t remember us scoring from a corner being crossed in and the Lobban goal did come after a short one. Results went our way this weekend as well apart from Stenhousemuir (when do we start worrying about them?) so all in all a good day. Reply |

| 48. Author: Indiapar1 Date: Sat 19th Sep 2026. 19:28 I think that this style of play is a function of how competitive the league is. I think that on any day, you can`t write off any team. At the end of the day if you have the ball, you control the game and the opposition obviously can`t score. It also wears the opposition down mentally. Teams who play us are going to pack their box. We need to be able to score goals from the edge of the box in my view as this will be a tactic throughout the season by the other teams in the championship. If it was perceived we didn`t play well but still won, I recall we did that in a few games when we were promoted from League 1. G Wardrope Reply |

If our strikers could convert a few more chances per game we would be in a good place. The league is highly competitive and there aren`t many easy games. But the trajectory is up. Reply |

One look at the trees blowing like crazy showed how windy it actually was. We absolutely need to be shooting more often! Get the short corners in the bin.
