As the Swiss are the top team in our group and will surely be our biggest test I can’t see SP making too many changes for this game. Maybe one change in central defence ? Maybe Hickey swapped out for Patterson ? Maybe one change up top? Think Gunn, Two CH’s, probably Hendry and Welsh, Robertson, Ferguson, McGinn and Gilmour and McBurnie are all certain starters. assuming he goes with the same shape/formation.. What an opportunity we missed in 2014. Reply |

Welsh against Slovenia and Binks tonight. Upfront Ure starting against Slovenia and Bowie tonight. Had a suspicion that Patterson would start. Quite a “ safe” line up. Not much pace there either. He was clean through on goal and deliberately slowed down to wait for the challenge rather than just scoring. Braindead behaviour from Hendry all the same pulling him back. Reply |

I guess it’s a spur of the moment brain fart type thing as it is utterly pointless, especially after only 10 minutes when there’s loads of time to get a goal back with a full team. Freekick was Gunn’s side as well. Not fantastic from him just getting done for pace of shot. Reply |
