I would bin him if I was the manager….but I am not ….lol The irony is that if it was a pen then Hendry may have stayed on and they might have missed the pen … Never been a fan of playing three lumbering giants in central defence. Like to see someone in there who is quicker over 10-15 yards. Should we continue with three CH’s now ? Get someone else in midfield. Think McGinn has been poor. I would hook him and McKenna and get Doak and an other on. Difficult to get anything from this game now. Need to come second…at worst…in the group which will mean winning 3 of our next four probably. Lackadaisical is about the only phrase I can use for his demeanor. Games Gone🤦🏻♂️ Yip. No shame in losing to a very good Swiss side with 11 men never mind 10, but teams with 10 men can sometimes still give it a right go. Surprised SP persisted with the 3 CH’s, our wing backs were pinned back and the 3 in midfield over ran. It was an abject performance second half. We have a team that looks so one paced… It will be interesting to see what team starts against NM. Gilmour, McGinn, Ferguson and Robertson will be toiling to play 3 games in a week. Hope we go with 4 at the back. Binks and Welsh can’t be any worse than McKenna and Hendry. Doig and Hickey back in. We have to give some new guys a game at some point so let’s see what Lennon Miller and McPake can do. What an opportunity we missed in 2014. Reply |
| 40. Author: Jeffery Date: Tue 29th Sep 2026. 22:23 When we went 2-0 down I think Poco brought off Gilmour and McBurnie to save them for the weekend as he knew it was done. Probably a sensible move but meant we had half an hour of absolute dross. We really need a win at the weekend. It would be good to get Josh McPake and Gannon-Doak in on either side. McGinn was poor and played the whole game so maybe he`ll sit the upcoming one out. Reply |
