We also lost at home in the League Cup knockouts to a League One side. I really like what Lennon has done, and do think he is our best manager since JC (he got us to a cup final ffs) but lets not act like we are achieving our goals just yet. Reply |

In my view we`re playing some of the best stuff we`ve done in years and I loved the cup run last year. I`m choosing to have faith that the results will come and we`ll have a swing at promotion this year. But if we don`t, we don`t. I`m a fan of Lennon but he`s not bigger than the club and will be gone one day. Whether that`s next month, next year or 10 years from now. Hopefully it`s the latter after a few top 6 finishes and a cup. Reply |

There is a part time club topping the division (who’ve just come up) and a Rovers side that can hardly fill a bench. I’m sure the board and Lennon would have been hoping we’d be a bit further on in our progress too. Lennon said we’ve been starved of success when we were on our cup run last year. People are forgetting what success actually is because we’ve been awful for so long. For example do you think Falkirk would have been happy finishing 4th the season they won the league? Not a chance they would. Success is getting out the division. Not finishing 4th and getting beat in the playoffs. Allan Johnston and Stevie Crawford both managed to do that too. | 46. Author: wee eck Date: Wed 14th Oct 2026. 21:33 Falkirk were in League 1 for four (?) seasons before they got promotion. They got it wrong a few times before they got it right. I`m not writing off this season just because Stenny are top after we`ve played 8 games. I`ve followed the Pars for over 60 years but I don`t live in the past. NL`s only been in post for 18 months. It doesn`t matter what he achieves some folk will say it`s not enough or it wasn`t soon enough. Reply |
