Forcing Adams into the starting 11 every week is holding us back. He isn’t ready to be a starter.

Was as expected a very cagey game with so much at stake.
Adam’s staying on the park was bizarre and Kane staying off it equally so.
The ref was an utter joke throughout and to blow full time when we were through was disgraceful when the 4 minutes wern’t up.

Where to even start with that. Rovers killed any chance of a football match with their antics as usual, just a team full of horrible b*stards from top to bottom.

Absolutely beyond belief that Adams has started 11 games in a row, he’s atrocious and genuinely looks like a competition winner 99% of the time he’s on the ball. 4 back heels attempted - 4 times rovers regained possession. The kind of thing Lennon should be raging about.

The ref was hopeless aswell, every drop ball went to rovers regardless of who had the ball when play was stopped. Frasers yellow was a perfect tackle, not a single raith player even claimed for a foul. The challenge on Thomas at the end is a penalty all day long aswell!

A difficult night but a point isn’t a terrible result. We really need more creativity up top, it’s just not happening at the minute.

Adams reminds me of Yeboah. Runs around a lot but doesn’t do anything with it.

These dafts flicks and passes to no one needs sorted.

Got what we deserved tonight. Still unbeaten and move on.

Lennon had to hold his tongue in post match presser and cited his midweek suspension. He must have been furious.

It`s weird that the reason given for not awarding a pen was that the keeper got a touch on the ball. Outfield players make tackles all over the pitch and `get a touch` on the ball but get penalised just the same eg Robbie Fraser`s tackle.

Don’t think anyone else has mentioned this and I seemed to be the only person to have seen it at the time. Off the ball raith cb deliberately elbows shaw. Red card all day long.

I seen it. A player doesn’t go down with a burst nose from nothing. Ref and linesman completely clueless all night.

Surprised that Adams got the full game when we still had Kane & Rudden on the bench.
Still, a clean sheet, a point away, unbeaten run continues & we`re joint top, for a few hours anyway!

Kanes chocolate, no way Lennon was playing him on that surface

Adams and Allan were poor , I would have put Corbally on but NL probably didnt want to lose Allans height in midfield .

We were poor in the final 3rd again. I don’t think Bray offered enough tbh. Oli shaw needed someone closer to him but I also felt he could have done better. However, when he went off we looked really poor until Thomas came on. He was strong enough and good enough with the ball.

They were poor. When Oakley went off, all their attack did as well. Dowds offered nothing.

That ref tho

The game finished 0-0 to the referee

A poor game that probably deserved to end 0-0 despite the referee blatantly missing Thomas getting wiped out.

Some horrific officiating once again at Starks, seems to be almost every time we visit they just allow niggly fouls all night unless we commit them and it`s an instant yellow.

We just couldn`t get a real hold of the game until the final 10-15 minutes when the system got changed by Lennon and we started looking more of a threat. Take a point at Starks and move on.

Frustrating that we couldn`t nick a goal somehow tonight, but a point isn`t a bad result and I don`t think we were ever under pressure and looked like conceding. Just the usual game against Raith where one team tried to play football, and the other just wanted to put themselves about and the ref just allowed it all night.

Amazed Adams stayed on the pitch tonight. Thought he looked a bit lost on the wing and was generally just frustrating to watch whether it was struggling to control the ball or trying silly back heels. He just either seems to do something really good, or really bad and there`s no in-between.

Stevenson catching a shot right to the face was probably the highlight of the game - Couldn`t happen to a better guy. Ross Millen trying to make himself relevant goading the fans at the end was amusing too

Ref was murder, and to think he officiates most of his games in the top tier.

You take a point away from home but still disappointed in the performance, we created very little.

I think the refs from the top tier are worse when they take our games. They are used to not making strong decisions as they think that VAR will make the decision for them.

With VAR the penalty tonight would be looked at, as would Turner taking out Shaw off the ball, Abdullai was raging at one point and it looked like he was saying someone had raked their studs down is ankle. I`m sure there will be other examples.

I didn`t think we played anywhere near our best tonight but we probably shaded it. The Rae save was very good to deny us late on.

Millen raked his ankle/stamped on his foot then tried to pleas his innocence aka shat it when Nuru was about to get him. He also tried to get into Thomas after Baird had wiped him out off the park not long after he came on.

not the only one that spotted it NikNak, its to be expected with Baird and he delivered yet again.

i get the change with Adams and Shaw after last week but it definitely didnt work tonight, how Adams stayed on the full game when you have a still have another sub slot and choice of 2 other forwards is strange to say the least. overall it was poor stuff, little to no movement from the midfield and forwards, they have been using this system for months yet it looks like there is no plan what to do not just in the final third but to get there in the first place. it got slightly better when they went 3 at the back but not by much, take the point and move on but in two weeks time, can see it being much of the same.

the referee...after the games he has done involving us the last couple of years i had an idea of what to expect but tonight was a whole new level. see Collum was in the main stand, be so proud of one of his "top" officials in the middle tonight im sure.

Draw a fair result I’m afraid, didn’t think we offered much at all. But they certainly didn’t want to push to win that game. As Lennon said, takes two teams to play a good game of football and Raith didn’t want to do that. They suffocated us which didn’t allow us to play to our full potential.

Adams needs a spell on the bench. Thomas done well when he came on, more than Adams did all game. He’s so raw and not ready to be starting every week, I’d understand persisting with him if the options are limited but you have Kane and Rudden sitting chomping at the bit to come. Two players that have vast experience in these games and would know how to ruffle the feathers of their defenders.

Morton and Arbroath next two league games at home, 6 points is a must and imo utilise Kane, start him from the off, hopefully he bangs in a couple and get him off around the 60 mark and save his legs. It’s a no brainer.

As for the referee, don’t get me started, swear to god they don’t have a clue what’s going on in front of their own eyes? I reckon they just take the job because they are small minded individuals who feel they need to have some sort of an authority in their lives to make them feel better about themselves.

If you look away from the field and at some of the “top referees” in our country, what they do off the pitch, a good chunk of them are police officers, if that doesn’t scream I love having authority and being controlling then nothing will.

Anyone else think it looked like Olly near broke his arm in the penalty collision? Clutching it to his chest after he came back on

Thomas certainly holding his arm close to his side. Impacted his ability to get further involved. Possible injury worry.
