I agree with most mate but AJ will not spark fury out, he has lost his spark and is not the same boxer he once was

AJ will likely do exactly the same as he did against Nganou, Fury has no answer to a good boxer, which AJ can be - when he remembers.

(It’s absolutely amazing how many heavyweights forget the basics, especially the simple 1-2, instead trying to land a big clubbing punch then grabbing hold.)

However, if Fury spoils him for 5/6 rounds, he will probably win a points verdict in a typically boring snorefest.

You clearly don`t know who Lux Par is. You`ve absolutely embarrassed yourself suggesting he doesn`t know boxing. He`s probably forgotten more about boxing than you`ve ever known.

On their day .... Anyone out of the top 10 or maybe 15 in the rankings could knock any of the others out.
Look at wilder .... On his day he`s a knockout machine.
Unfortunately (for him) it`s not been his day for a while now.
It was AJ for a while , then Fury.... Who`s to say that Usyk won`t get caught by someone he should outbox easily?
It happens.
How many times did Lewis lose the title and he`s regularly lauded as one of the best ever heavyweights.
(Probably cos he regained after he lost)
I`ve totally forgot the point I`m trying to make now.....
Carry on 🤪

I wont lie i dont care who he is, you dont know who i am either, that is irrelevant, if he thinks aj would ko fury then he may be losing the plot, doesnt matter how.much he may know about boxing, that analysis is waffle

I have my popcorn at the ready. Is this match for the disabled lift charity?
Much better proposition in this that the football thread “melt” name calling 🫣
That can be the undercard.

Well Shelley.
Apparently I’m embarrassing myself, losing the plot and spouting waffle?
Interesting.

If you are such an expert on boxing, please astound us with your credentials
- did you ever box competitively?
- were you involved in boxing? Training fighters?
- or are you just another self-professed armchair expert?

To be fair to Shelleypar:

From the BBC website:

‘Tyson Fury would be a "massive favourite" against Anthony Joshua if the heavyweights fight this year, says former world super-featherweight champion Barry Jones.’

I suspect the bookies (actual armchair experts) would agree. They could be wrong of course.

Sure you can - what club were you with?
Maybe I knew your dad as you seem to be significantly younger than I.

Boxed competitively for 9 years,
Late starter, I was always a football player, half decent but never anywhere near good enough to make it as a pro.
Dragged along to the gym at age 18 by my younger brother who had just won a junior Eastern District title (lightweight IIRC)

Around 140 fights, including 20 internationals.
Scottish champion at Light middle
Eastern district champion at two weights - light middle and middleweight (two championship wins at each weight)
Boxed for Scotland, GB and Norway
Most notable win was beating ‘Tiger’ Tim Taylor in the deciding match, England v Scotland for Scotland’s first win in 20 years.
After retiring, Trained and seconded male and female boxers at Cardenden ABC.
Trained boxers at Muhlenbach in Lux

Raymie? 🤣
I’m 100% against your family so far, as you know.
Cannae believe you think you’d do better than Biagio

I believe that was ruled a ‘no-contest’ after interference by plod…

By coincidence, I was looking at this today:
