| 1. Author: GG Riva Date: Sat 8th Aug 2026. 13:05 Radio Scotland`s morning phone in programme has this week been highlighting this plague on our society. A woman is killed every month by a violent husband or partner, or an ex who cannot accept the end of a relationship. Thousands more are assaulted and injured by these male excuses for human beings. And that`s just the cases that are reported..... One woman victim told a harrowing story of how she was brutally assaulted and raped the day before her 16th birthday. The man was caught and sentenced to 5 years. She said that when she reported the crime, no female police officer was present. The male officers made her feel that it was her own fault, by asking her questions like how long her skirt was and how low her neckline was. How absolutely shocking! | 2. Author: jake89 Date: Sat 8th Aug 2026. 13:51 What I`ll never understand is that all men and boys have had or have a mum. Maybe they have a sister too. What would they do if a guy was creeping on a female relative or physically or verbally assaulting her. Other men and boys need to call out the daft comments too as this is often masking far more concerning opinions/views. Just last week I saw on Facebook that a bunch of lads had been sending abusive messages to a teenage girl telling her she was getting raped and that they were going to "end" a baby in the house. I really hope that parent took it to the police as that`s mad behaviour from wee boys. What`s disturbing is the amount of mums who stand up for their sons behaviour. Reply |
| 3. Author: buffy Date: Sat 8th Aug 2026. 18:08 There’s been such a high uptake on domestic abuse cases in Scotland that criminal defence and prosecution solicitors can’t cope. Legal aid board fees for cases has stagnated since 1999 and the boycott by some legal defence firms and services means people aren’t getting justice and help when they so desperately need it. No amount of tv advertising / police messages are getting through to the public. I’ve no idea what the solution is, and it’s sad reading. ”Buffy’s Buns are the finest in Fife”, J. You lot seem to think because there’s been protests about Muslim grooming gangs and the cover up by predominantly Labour Party members or illegal migration, people don’t care about domestic violence. Author: The One Who Knocks Date: Sun 9th Aug 2026. 09:58 Interestingly the figures reveal that there has also been an increase in domestic abuse cases where the perpetrator is female and the victim is male. Men are still more likely to be the victim of male violence than women are and far more men are murdered each year than women. None of that excuses the men behind the huge spike in domestic abuse over the last two years. Something is going very wrong with large swathes of male culture in our society. Author: NMCmassive Date: Sun 9th Aug 2026. 12:31 jake89, Sun 9 Aug 09:19 Your problem with him doesn’t address the fact that 1 - he was right there are grooming gangs (still ongoing btw) and they are targeting non-Muslim girls for the fact they are non-Muslim. 2 - there was a political cover up of it because the Labour Party wanted the votes and the police were pressured to not be racist. 3-The scale of the Muslim rap gangs is on a scale not seen before. Yes there are white grooming gangs as well but when that’s caught they all get arrested and sent to jail and it’s in the news. The Muslim rap gangs were swept under the carpet time and again. Should we say it okay lads, bash on cos we can’t stop X percentage of crime from white people anyway? How would you feel if it was your family members that were victims? Would you go out of your way to try and stop it from happening or would you just sit in the house? COYP Reply |
