Should have been delivered mid 2018 so it`s incredibly late but maybe wouldn`t have been nearly as long as five years but for the pandemic. Post Edited (Sat 10 Aug 09:44) Reply |

Nobody painted windows on the side of nuclear subs and stood in front of it for a āmission accomplishedā type of photo opportunity for a start. All we had to do was build two replacement ferries. So far weāve nationalised a ship yard and spent roughly roughly Ā£560million (not incl a further Ā£25mill requested by Ferguson marine to secure its future beyond the ferries), proved the industry experts who said LNG would only work under certain circumstances and under huge costs-correct and completely destroyed any remaining reputation we had in this industry š¤·š»āāļø Iām sure initial estimates were around Ā£200million for the two ferries. Lets not include the controversial procurement process. The whole thing is indicative of a banana republic thatās run the whole thing through a Kangaroo court. I went down the ferry rabbit hole about 12/18months ago. COYP Reply |
