43. Author: The One Who Knocks Date: Wed 6th Nov 2024. 11:13 Well he can only pardon himself of federal crimes not state ones. Doesn`t matter anyway now. And although my eyes were open They just might as well be closed Reply |
44. Author: PeachtreePar Date: Wed 6th Nov 2024. 12:34 Trump will get a slap on the wrist and a fine and nothing more. That is why the sentencing was delayed until after the election. I don`t like Trump, never have, never will. I don`t think he is a good human being never mind a good President. He is everything I taught my kids not to be. I am a US citizen. I did vote. i don`t like it but will accept the will of the people. Unlike Trump in 2020. This is not the Republican Party of Lincoln, Eisenhower or even Reagan. It`s a cult of personality with very little in terms of substance behind it. I was hoping MAGA would die but I guess need to just outlive the Orange one. No change in Government until January 20th. Gives me plenty of time to buy a tin helmet. I`ve not really posted too much on this forum in recent years. Bletchley you can enjoy your moment but your nonsense about the cheating Democrats is just that. No credible evidence has ever been presented, because it doesn`t exist, it never happened. Try other countries being able to do that but with everything run at State level the ability to co-ordinate any kind of mass change of vote is impossible. It is also very disappointing that you keep on repeating these lies when thousands of people and volunteers sacrifice so much to make the election what it is and some suffered terribly following the last election. Rudy Giuliani getting what he deserves. You also seem to be good at selectively taking things from history and trying to suggest that those continue in the modern day. Woodrow Wilson was a white supremacist no doubt, but that was more than a hundred years ago. You know when Britain had an empire and so did France. You conveniently seem to forget the Civil Right movements, and the Great Switch. Perhaps you should find a US history book that gets past the 1950s. Reply |
45. Author: Bletchley_Par Date: Wed 6th Nov 2024. 13:11 It is remarkable to think that if the Democrats and deep state did not rig the 2020 election that they would be a couple of months away from being rid of Trump and this election cycle the dems would have chosen a candidate through the primary system and not been lumbered with a DEI hire with a dreadful 4 years of failure as VP. They`d also be probably facing a weak republican candidate like Pence or some Rhino and now they are in all likelihood going to have to face someone formidable in 4 years like JD Vance. I`m enjoying this and God works in mysterious ways and the pain and hurt of the stolen 2020 election has actually worked out for the best, Trump may have not been in the White House these last 4 years but he has lived rent free in the head of the deep state swamp and the MSM and now he has arrived at this point for his second term with people on board like RFK jnr, Tulsi and Elon. I was quite miffed that Kemi won the Tory leadership, I wanted it to be a Tory wet and the "conservative" party to crash and burn, but watching her hand Two Tier Keir`s arse to him today and PMQ`s over Trumps magnificent comeback victory is glorious. 59. Author: jake89 Date: Thu 7th Nov 2024. 12:29 ipswichpar, Thu 7 Nov 08:28 Because, as BP well knows, the graph is "fake news". The turnout increases in 2020 but not considerably. Less than 10%. Current figures suggest the 2024 figure is broadly in line with the 2020 one. Reply |
