This is why they keep telling you "it`s the hottest April on tecord" when really, you know it isn`t. People should be outraged but they won`t be, they`ll defend it because a bloke on the tele said it was ok. I don`t wanna go down like disco. Reply |

24. Author: jake89 Date: Fri 25th Apr 2025. 21:53 Sorry, I thought you meant they were ALREADY doing this (though there has long been speculation about Russia messing with the weather). Rising temperatures are problematic in many areas but I refuse to believe they`re solely down to pollution. We definitely need to tackle pollution but also need to take into account that the climate changes naturally over time. Any geo-engineering has to be reversible to take that into account. Reply |
25. Author: The One Who Knocks Date: Fri 25th Apr 2025. 23:58 As I have said before you can`t burn 80 million barrels of oil everyday for 80 years and billions of tonnes of coal every year for the last 150 years and not expect that to have a huge impact on the climate. I mean these are incredible numbers and quite frankly anyone who genuinely believes that the climate change that has occured over the past two or three decades isn`t linked to human activity is an idiot. And although my eyes were open They just might as well be closed Reply |
26. Author: Dave_1885 Date: Sat 26th Apr 2025. 05:48 Climate change is clearly a thing. I mean, look at our weather systems the last couple of years - all over the place and not even a summer last year! And barely any snow this winter. But we are now seeing more storms bringing huge downpours and hurricane esk winds. Anyone denying that it has changed is needing carted to the loony bin. Is it natural? Possibly. Is it human forced? Possibly. Nobody will ever know the exact answer. But its safe to say the planet changes of its own accord as well, it just happens over larger time periods. The one thing that is a fact - we can do absolutely nothing about mother nature when she really wants to go for it. Reply |

29. Author: Dandy Warhol Date: Mon 28th Apr 2025. 08:48 DBA, Mon 28 Apr 00:39 There are a few companies listed as doing this, there`s even companies offering a sunny day for your wedding. You simply have to look up, you can watch them spraying lines in the sky, in a grid, the grid then hazes over and joins up, giving us that low hanging complete cloud cover, I`ve watched it many times with the wife, rain usually follows. Of course I`m up against "it`s not been on the telly so it can`t be true" but it`s there, this is simply going official. Trump and Musk are reportedly stopping it, which is interesting because it hasn`t been confirmed as happening. I don`t wanna go down like disco. Reply |
30. Author: The One Who Knocks Date: Mon 28th Apr 2025. 09:02 Russians have been doing this for decades. They done it to ensure the opening of the 1980 Olympics was rain free (cloud seeding actually decreases the chance of rainfall) and they continue to do it most years on nations holidays so that their military parades and such aren`t ruined by rain. I`d be interested to know where exactly in this country you have seen it Dandy. And although my eyes were open They just might as well be closed Reply |
31. Author: Bletchley_Par Date: Mon 28th Apr 2025. 10:02 Topic Originator: The One Who Knocks No it does not, the exact opposite is true, cloud seeding increases the chance of rainfall. ![]() Reply |
32. Author: The One Who Knocks Date: Mon 28th Apr 2025. 10:35 Actually the exact opposite isn`t true. It all depends on what effect you want and how you define rainfall. Some cloud seeding actually `bursts` clouds and the resulting rain is in droplets so small that they never actually reach the ground and the water disperses into the atmosphere.Hence why I said the Russians have been doing it for years to ensure fair weather for national events. `Ivan see those clouds over there , inject some silver iodine into and burst it now, we don`t want the rain hitting the parade". As it is the actual effectiveness is generally dubious and research consider any effect it has to be minimal at best. And although my eyes were open They just might as well be closed Reply |
33. Author: Dandy Warhol Date: Mon 28th Apr 2025. 11:27 The One Who Knocks, Mon 28 Apr 09:02 Fife, heavily in West Lothian, pretty much everywhere, big trails, sprayed in a grid, grid closes up and the sun is gone.you can get flight scanner and see them zigzag. The wife and I joke about "yep, raining tomorrow" and we are very rarely wrong. Dimming the sun with heavy metals, what could go wrong? There is also way into double figures of sites carrying out weather manipulation experiments. But yeah, hottest April on record eh. I don`t wanna go down like disco. 34. Author: jake89 Date: Mon 28th Apr 2025. 11:33 Ah, so how does this explain Glasgow being so wet compared to Edinburgh when Edinburgh has the busier airport? See when you`re next out driving on a cold/mild day, take a look at what`s coming out the back of car exhausts. Now imagine what happens when you are burning shed loads more fuel at 40,000 feet. 35. Author: red-star-par Date: Mon 28th Apr 2025. 19:23 Quite an interesting discussion. I don`t think there can be any doubt climate change is happening. I`ve seen the changes during my lifetime, hardly any snow during winter these days, I only had to scrape frost off the car a handful of times this winter, and wildfires in our normally damp climate are commonplace. The autism thing is also really interesting, I can understand how better understanding and diagnosis can mean there are more people with autism now than ever, but there also seems like there ARE many more. Growing up at primary school, in my village, then at high school I don`t remember their being anyone that was too different, everyone was just kinda the same. High School had a "Special Unit" but even looking back at those kids, they weren`t that out of the ordinary (maybe there were others they just kept locked away), whereas now I know quite a number of people who have kids who are non-verbal or quite severely effected by autism. Something must be causing it. It`s costing the country a fortune as well Reply |
36. Author: Dandy Warhol Date: Tue 29th Apr 2025. 06:54 jake89, Mon 28 Apr 11:33 Mate there`s over 600 patents and there`s an English firm been taking about a 100k a pop to guarantee your wedding gets a sunny day, not to mention the number of patents. Not to worry you`ll notice them spraying soon now the telegraph says you can. There is plenty independent research showing levels of heavy metals in our water and foil supply are higher, again go figure. On the autism thing, I`m autistic, high functioning, before anyone uses is as an excuse to rubbish my observations, something is causing the increase. Water filters are the way forward because spraying metal in the sky is mental. I don`t wanna go down like disco. Reply |
37. Author: jake89 Date: Tue 29th Apr 2025. 07:46 So, hang on a minute. You can legally cloud seed right now, but rather than do this they are sneakily doing it by attaching tanks to planes run by a variety of airlines? Seems a lot of effort. Reply |

Let me know these details and I will do a little investigating at work. I work in an Air Traffic Control centre so can look at Radar Replays over the location and get Aircraft details from these. I can even listen in to any voice comes there will have been between the aircraft and air traffic control. If your claims of aircraft zig-zagging is accurate the evidence will be easy for me to find. 40.
