I kinda thought he meant ‘climate change will never be affected by Britain’…

Meaning that our efforts make hee-haw difference when the likes of China/India/USA are pumping out so much.
Even if UK went completely net-zero, the difference would be negligible.

Yeh sorry that is what I meant Lux. Britain is tiny and anything this country does will never help climate change unless the big countries stop all their pollution.

Britain is huge in terms of consumption. We are therefore hugely polluting for our population, the UK has the sixth biggest economy in the world, meaning that a smaller change can have bigger results.

Obviously we`re not China or the US, but we do have a significant part to play.

Worth mentioning that not so long ago we would have been formulating our emissions policy as part of a much bigger bloc and would have had a say on what happens with emissions for the whole EU.

All Britains industry has gone so where does the country even have a percentage of pollution? How will Britain make a difference? Has anyone been to China/India?

“The UK ranked 17th with 1.1% of global emissions. China produced 28% and was responsible for almost two-thirds of the growth in emissions since 2000.”

It doesn`t seem to be a very noble stance to say `we`re only a minimal contributor to emissions, let`s leave it to the big contributors to deal with climate change`. Aren`t all countries that import stuff from China partly responsible?

We also ship a lot of our emissions abroad. Can`t be burning all that rubbish in the UK

Russians have been doing this for decades. They done it to ensure the opening of the 1980 Olympics was rain free (cloud seeding actually decreases the chance of rainfall) and they continue to do it most years on nations holidays so that their military parades and such aren`t ruined by rain. I`d be interested to know where exactly in this country you have seen it Dandy.

Fife, heavily in West Lothian, pretty much everywhere, big trails, sprayed in a grid, grid closes up and the sun is gone.you can get flight scanner and see them zigzag. The wife and I joke about "yep, raining tomorrow" and we are very rarely wrong. Dimming the sun with heavy metals, what could go wrong?
There is also way into double figures of sites carrying out weather manipulation experiments.
But yeah, hottest April on record eh.

Next time you see some aircraft zig-zagging take a note of where and when it happened. Let me know these details and I will do a little investigating at work.
I work in an Air Traffic Control centre so can look at Radar Replays over the location and get Aircraft details from these. I can even listen in to any voice comes there will have been between the aircraft and air traffic control.
If your claims of aircraft zig-zagging is accurate the evidence will be easy for me to find.

Sorry man, I will do, I didn`t see this.

A few weeks of pleasant spring weather and a couple of warm days in an average summer 2 years ago.

Couple of warm days? Temps over 30° for nearly two weeks with the overall July, August and September temperatures warm.

This spring so far has been the warmest on record. It’s been three weeks so far and is predicted to go on for at least another two weeks.

I also noticed the lack of spraying, when it did resume it was cloudy the very next day.

On a side note, get folks to install solar panels then dim the sun, make it make sense.
It`s had a massive impact on bees, climate change/climate manipulation.

It`s not what we make that causes the emissions, it`s what we consume.

Obviously, Britain`s manufacturing sector is dead, and has been since the 1980s at least, so there are fewer emissions from goods manufactured in the UK.

Our emissions happen in China, Bangladesh and everywhere else the goods we consume are manufactured.

The laws of supply and demand are in play after all.

Im confused then - are they spraying today? Have there been planes flying over fife all night but not now? Because it’s sunny, but with clouds in the sky…….which, of course, must be the planes?

What are you talking about, I can see condensation trails across the sky from my window right now same as I did yesterday and the day before and it’s still sunny.
