Author: wee eck Date: Wed 18th Mar 2026. 18:15 He has a habit of opening his mouth and putting his foot in it - `Scottish Labour leader Anas Sarwar has apologised after joking that he looked as if he had suffered a stroke. Sarwar made the comment at the end of a press conference that was being broadcast online. Speaking to a photographer, he said she had pictured him previously in a "stroke pose", adding: "I looked like I had a stroke". Chest Heart and Stroke Scotland (CHSS) described the remarks as "deeply disappointing". A spokesperson said: "Stroke is not a punchline or a `pose`. It is a life-threatening medical emergency, that has lasting physical, emotional and social impact, on individuals and the people who care about them." Reply |

In Scotland they have no problem lying because they have major protection from the TV stations and the press. Starmer never did and his series of u turns, fibs, and all the other shambles have killed labour. And when you add the job losses that they said wouldnt happen with some major problems in Fife there is a serious lack of credibility. If Labour was Westminsters last chance to keep Scotland they have failed. It might not just be Scotland. Wales are going in a different direction as is Northern Ireland which was always just a matter of time I have to say, seeing England totally surrounded by EU countries should send a message. Reply |
