Ahhhh... SOUTH Asia. In other words, what we used to call the Indian Subcontinent... principally, India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Sri-Lanka, Nepal, and Afghanistan.

Be careful not to confuse it with SOUTHEAST Asia, a very different part of the world.

Geography was simpler not so very long ago.

Ipswichpar, there is literally a news story every day about an attack in Glasgow, nationwide too, other stories, even up in Banff.
Not to worry though, the Jewish community getting another 250 million in policing, that`ll help.

Be great if you could share the links then to highlight the severity of the problem as without those links it comes across as here-say

Follow news outlets, simple.

On one hand we have the the "right" ruthlessly exploiting victims and on the other the so called "caring left" trying to ignore they exist.
Meanwhile those in the middle get labelled extremists for be appalled.
Clown country.

I think I`m in the middle. But I suspect everybody assumes that`s where they are.

Pretty sure I`m either Very East or Very West Asia, depending which was round one goes.

I just done a simple search and got the numbers I got back.

That was totals tho so no breakdown on identity.

I’m not anti-immigration. I’m anti illegal-immigration and given our current rules and climate amongst the population I really think we need to take a hard line on illegal migration. I don’t think we can just allow anyone to claim anything without any ability or proof otherwise. Prove you’re an asylum seeker (especially if they’ve arrived on a boat with 40other guys all who seemingly look in their 20’s) and then we’ll help.

The way we treat them when they’re here is unfair on them and unfair on the locals.

Having weak policies on border controls and a welfare system that’s easy to game makes us attractive to people who won’t bring anything to the table.

I really think we’ve got it all erse for elbows

Another thing that’s been over complicated by Americanisms.

I think it`s come about because in the UK we say "Asian" to mean Pakistan and India mainly. In the US "Asian" is more China/Japan/Korea. Thus we end up with East Asia and South Asia when probably in 90% of cases we mean Pakistani and Chinese.

Wheres the outrage over the male that is accused of raping a 15 year old in Oban? Not seen a single protest about this one. Just two wee news articles……

I’d never belittle rape but I don’t know how you can compare it to recent protests.

The Belfast protests were after someone was nearly decapitated in the street and the ones down south were after a girls party was attacked with 3 girls murdered, 8 girls hospitalised and 2 adults seriously injured.

We obviously have crimes here but how that can be equated to justify illegal immigration I just don’t know.

And btw there’s been gangs chasing nonces for years. Happened round the corner from us about 20 years ago when it came out someone got arrested for child stuff on his laptop. They were right out into his garden, banging his door. He’d already done a runner otherwise they’d probably have killed him.

"We obviously have crimes here but how that can be equated to justify illegal immigration I just don’t know."

You referenced two horrendous crimes though that weren`t committed by illegal immigrants. In fact the Southport scumbag was a UK citizen. He was born, raised and schooled here.

And although my eyes were open

If we`re talking sex offenders, I believe the main guy behind a well known name and shame group on Facebook has himself been arrested for being a wrongun. May not be true but devices were allegedly seized.

I referenced the last crimes that had major protests. Both of them heinous for different reasons but I wouldn’t call either perpetrator a loyal British citizen. 1 may have been born here but his actions are evidence for themselves.

Hadi Alodid filled out an online questionnaire to gain ‘asylum status’. If thats not a breakdown in a system that leads to a horrendous outcome that might actually be worth protesting about-I don’t know what is.

I don`t know about anyone else NMC but to me it unravels your argument that it is illegal migration you disagree with, and suggests that this is just a dog-whistle for something more basic and sinister.

Something a tad more white supremacist maybe.

Of course it says more about me than it does you, that`s the nature of discourse.

You spoke for yourself earlier, that was about you. Then it was my turn and I offered my inference from what you said, which was absolutely about me because it was my opinion.

I didn`t imagine you`d to like it which means that, alongside your difficulty with engaging in sincere discussion, I should really forgive the petulant ad hominem.

You’ve reverted to saying something about white supremacy because that’s all you’ve got. You’re not realising I’m the one who married a migrant and socialises with people from St Lucia and Zimbabwe.

Other posters put actual thought and intelligence into their response. Whether we have the same view points or are challenging each others view-I actually respect their opinions and I’m happy to engage in their ideas, change my own ideas if I think they have a good point.

Your replies show off exactly what you are. Just another idiot on the internet.

The problem NCM is your clumsy statements. First of all you inferred the Southport attacker was an illegal migrant when he wasn`t. When it was pointed out that he was a British citizen, born and bred, you went for the angle of, yeah but he`s not a loyal British citizen. Ok not really sure what you mean by that. He`s a psychotic scumbag just like Thomas Hamilton or Michael Ryan or Derrick Bird were but I don`t ever remember anyone ever describe those evil losers as not being loyal British citizen. It`s an unusual turn of phrase for describing a mentally deranged lunatic.

And although my eyes were open
They just might as well be closed

I never said he was illegal.

Dave’s point was that there’s only protests against certain groups and he’s saying it hypocritical. My point is it’s not really hypocritical because questions really do need to be asked about the migration process, policing standards amongst other things that have allowed both events to occur. I’m also saying folk have been ganging up at the doors of nonces as long as I knew about it.

And folk do like to use the saying that he was a Welsh choir boy and he was British and all that. He may well have a British passport but by evidence of his actions that he was found guilty of in court, he was British only in paper. Not because what he done was terrible but because of the ideology he chose to follow. “loyal” is a pretty broad term however, in the context that he’s actively engaged with ISIS, Islamic extremism and by extension (as that’s the overall goal for radical Islam - world dominance) the collapse of the west, I used the term “loyal British citizen”. Hamilton, Ryan and Bird all committed heinous acts but their motives certainly weren’t anything to do with Islam or the fall of the west.

I understand all 4 obviously have or had mental health issues but their motives are individual to each.

It’s also very telling you’d want to highlight Southport and not Belfast because what led up to the Belfast attack is much more daming on the current state of immigration affairs into the UK.
