You are indeed Swisspar, but hanging by a thread mate, always possible for any bidder to increase their bid at any time

Remember the higher you finish on the list of bidders the better chance you have of picking your personal favorite shirt

Todays Pars legend

One of the biggest names in world football,

Played for the Pars in the Sixties, signing from St Johnstone in 1964
66 goals in 89 appearances,
In season 65-66 scored 45 goals in 51 games joint top scorer in Scotland (equal with Celtics Joe Mcbride)

After his playing career ended he carved out a bit of a career for himself in football management

Todays pars "Legend" is

SIR ALEX FERGUSON

To have a chance of winning Fergie's personally signed poppy shirt place a bid, I think this may be a popular choice

Whilst 1970par makes the long march to Poland there may be slightly longer breaks in the updates. Not because of technology but because I expect him to be rolling around in some Warsaw bar, drunk as a skunk, with those models of decorum the Trailblazers to guide him..... (Oh dear)

However. hangovers allowing, he will be sticking manfully to the task at hand and hopefully we will get a few updates. Normal service resumes on Friday 17th. Remember the auction runs through until Friday 24th.

In the meantime, just contemplate what a Pars Poppy Shirt signed by Sir Alex Ferguson might be worth to you..........

I think we can all agree: a heroic effort from 1970par...... you will have noted that these were posted between 9.38 and 9.54 am!

And no-one need worry: we'll be undertaking a full audit of the bids whilst 1970par is out on the lash in down-town Warsaw. If only the Scotland team might match his level of stamina....

And even from deepest Warsaw (or at least the back of a Warsaw bar) 1970par has organised a Bugler for the game on 25 October (eyes propped open: probably looks like a Tom and Jerry character -- you have to wonder what the rest of the Trailblazers look like at present......)

More will be revealed on his return......

Keep bidding

Remarkable -- 1970 posting at 9.26 (o.k really 10.26) after a Scotland result away from home. Think what it would have been like had we won.....
