Parsman1885.

Yes unfortunately agree 100%. Didn’t think we would challenge this season but this is brutal to watch. We could have played all day & not scored.

“.........it ain’t over till the Pars score!”

craigypar35 , I think the same as you , not just the rovers ! most teams let us have the ball because they know our forwards cannot finish their dinner never mind score a goal
Another disappointing night , looking on the plus side only 8 games to be miserable about , we better hope ICT , QP, and AYR falter or we know what we are staring at ,
At Present there is nothing to look forward to ,
Will be staying in the house on Friday night as I can only see another defeat

Didn`t think the free kick that lead to the first was a foul. I had a good view of it and Hamilton clearly got the ball.
That said, the combination of having no focal point to hit crosses at and not moving the ball quickly enough and letting them get bodies around the box made it a hard watch.
I`m not having Mehmet criticised for the first goal as was suggested earlier. He made a very good stop and their man was ready for it better than those around him.

I thought we played well, really well up until the 2nd goal.

Putting the ball into the net has been a bit of an issue for us for 2 seasons.

Its not a personnel issue as these guys are professional footballers who can all shoot, pass tackle etc.

I feel mcpake likes to pack the midfield either 3-5-1-1 or recently 4-5-1 but it leaves the man up top with too much to do and not enough support.

They are not bad footballers by any stretch of the imagination even with the injuries and I feel someone else at the helm could`ve got better results out of that team.

We could have played all day and still would never have scored, our ability in front of goal is appaling and has been all season , Mcpakes decision making is frightening at times replacing Otoo with the hapless Mcann and then bringing on Holmes who is arguably worse than Mcann just finished the game for us .

Berkey I`ve never seen one single post of yours that says anything remotely positive.

Your sig sums it up.

This whole club reeks of underperformance.

From the board all through to the management coaches and players. And we lost £1M this last year with more losses to come it’s rumoured.

Since this investment group came in we’ve gone backwards in all ways.

Relegation, and another potentially on the cards
Money losses the like we haven’t seen since admin with more to come
10th largest attendance in Scottish football but real risk of 3rd tier football.

The new owners at Raith had a clear plan and it’s working. Our lot…..results both on and off the park say it all.

Sheer lethargy, incompetence and failure.

Slow 👏

Spot on! Really hope we survive this season but feel there’s an inevitability that we are going back to League 1. Rovers sat back, allowing us all that possession because they knew we would do little with it. It’s grim being a pars fan and the owners are way out there depth

We can’t even contemplate going back to L1. With a loss of £1m last year, and likely to be near to that again this season, the consequences of that are unthinkable.

I love positivity, and I want the best for my club and its players.

But at times we have to take emotion out and look at the bare facts.

We have been, and are, going backwards. With no clear functional plan of how to progress.

The manager is critical of the players for not scoring goals this isn`t a new problem it was the same last season and if we don`t get our finger out we will be back down with a good few of the players that got us relegated last time

Would help if we actually created chances to score from…..only clear cut effort today was Otoos who was denied by a wonder save

He’s hurting in there. Of course he is. He wanted to come back to this club where he played for so long – he had a great time here – and win for us. He’s in there, he’s annoyed, he’s frustrated, but I was pleased with his performance, not too many more.”
Mcpake giving Bene pass marks , not too many more .

McPake openly criticised Mehmet for the first goal. I thought that was a bit harsh as that ball was shifting and he didn`t have much time to react to it but the fact that he named him maybe shows the pressure he is feeling.

Rudden should have been carded for that early tackle.

I am a fan of Mcpakes, however that was unacceptable. I do think from an educated guess he is working with one hand behind his back and he is as frustrated as we are.

I think realistically and the facts speak for themselves. It`s all down to the striking.

Jakubiak, McCann and Homles can`t shoot for anything. Kane plays and we`re winning?. It`s no secret we just don`t score, everything else is in place.

The difference one good striker can make to us is palpable. They can influence the game in so many ways that even if they themselves don`t score, it allows others to shine.
