Same place he was the whole pre season and every other game he has missed. Another top class signing from mcpake.

He failed a late fitness test. Clearly, McPake is to blame for that, too.

Games coming thick and fast this week so hopefully he’s fit for Tuesday.

He’s going to need nursed through the season to be fit enough to play more than half of the games.

At the moment he has made 7 out of 10 league games, that’s the best run he’s managed for some time.

This one always puzzles me because he works really hard on the pitch.

The real problem is McPake, I know its championship football but we lack any sort of professional teamplay. Its just everyman for himself for style of play.

We have some talent in this team. Hosler can create chances in the right position as we saw yesterday and at morton, hes been off before that but theres still a player there. Dapo looked threatening in the late stage of yesterday`s game. Cooper seems promising too.

It`s time for a manager who can exploit the best out of this lot. I`m confident we could be somewhere under a manager who doesn`t make the most baffling selections and tactics.

Imo if Kane, Dapo and Cooper started yesterday we would of had a win.

Maybe Tommy, maybe just playing a Centre back at centre back might have got us at least a point but what do I know…..

What ever happened to Fogarty ? barely puts a foot wrong goes off on international duty and then gets dumped on the bench, liked the look of him and Sam Young , obviously not a mate of Mcpake

“It is somewhere I have played a lot most of my career. I feel comfortable playing there...."

quote from Hamilton, 3 weeks ago after playing at centre half, the position he grew up playing at Hearts as well as right back.

he shouldnt be playing there when there are other options available though.

Maybe Chris Kane doesn`t fancy playing on astro, with his injury record and age ?

Maybe he doesn`t fancy playing missed more games than he has played this season.

Totally agree but assume he picked up a knock or something. Couldn`t quite believe how well him and Young did when they were put together.

Honestly you couldn’t make it up…. We sign an injury prone striker to be our main centre forward and surprisingly he’s injured😅…Then McPake puts Sutherland on and plays the boy on the wing….but he can score goals as a striker…honestly this has to stop!

I’m sure it was McPake that signed El Baktoui from us and put him up top on his own for Dundee??? Everyone said he needed a good forward to play off and he flopped.

I`m guessing you`re not sure of that at all.

I love it when we go sell Kevin Nisbet,
He's gonna pay for everyone this season.

Kane has featured in every League game apart from yesterday`s and the opening one against Livi. He played the full 90 minutes in the last two games against Morton and Kelty.

Missed livi away and falkirk away, maybe there is something in the astroturf arguement?

Did manage 75 or so minutes at airdrie tho.

Either way he needs to be available for Tuesday.

He played at Hamilton and East Fife which have artificial pitches, don`t they? You love a conspiracy theory don`t you, Berkey? Nothing`s ever straightforward.

It wasn’t. I’m pretty sure that was Paul Hartley. I think 2019-20 was McPake’s first season as manager. I also think he played on the wing a lot at Dundee, rather than up front.
