According to both the only thing outstanding is the value of the compensation to Sporting Lisbon. Reply |

Author: NMCmassive Date: Mon 28th Oct 2024. 21:31 AdamAntsParsStripe, Mon 28 Oct 20:38 Honestly, the whole Fergie left them in a bad way 9 years and 6 managers later just doesn’t hold up for me anymore but can I just ask, are you seriously saying Aberdeen have struggled to recover since November 1986?? 🤷🏻♂️ like at what point do you think the onus is on the club and not on the ex manager? 😂😂😂😂 I can’t help laughing at this like 🤣🤣🤣🤣 COYP Post Edited (Mon 28 Oct 21:32) Reply |

Author: Buspasspar Date: Mon 28th Oct 2024. 22:06 Topic Originator: AdamAntsParsStripe like Date: Mon 28 Oct 20:38 Klopp left Liverpool in a good place and deliberately so for a smooth transition. Fergie left Man Utd with an ageing squad and nothing for the next manager to work with. Not saying that’s his fault but United have never recovered from the Fergie years much like Aberdeen in Scotland for over three decades (until now hopefully ) Spot on AAPS .. He left Man U in a mess .. it was all about him .. We are forever shaped by the Children we once were Reply |
26. Author: Johan_Cruyff Date: Tue 29th Oct 2024. 05:35 Thats a little harsh buspasspar - his wifes sister had died around Oct/Nov of that season if I remember rightly and he decided that he needed to be with her and focus on her after she had supported his career for so many years. Dont forget he left them as champions of england with Rooney and Van Persie leading the attack. Reply |

Author: GG Riva Date: Tue 29th Oct 2024. 15:52 shellypar, Tue 29 Oct 09:05 There`s always an exception that proves the rule, shelly. 🙂 And anyway, I did say that only a very few managers who don`t speak the native language are successful. Perhaps Claudio Ranieri is the outstanding example. When he arrived at Chelsea, he spoke no English at all. By the time he returned to the Premier League with Leicester, he spoke a little pidgin English and we all know what happened next..... Not your average Sunday League player. Reply |

36. Author: widtink Date: Tue 29th Oct 2024. 18:32 Man united? I`ve heard they used to be really good but it was a long time ago now. They`re pretty rubbish these days let`s be honest. I would be very surprised if they finish the season in the top half of the table. Still , ... They`ll always have the memories 😆 Admin Reply |
