We’ve made hard work of beating a team who have one point from their last 10 games( ironically against us) now, and he’s mocking the people who financially support the club. Not on for me and tough to come back from that in the long term. Reply

That was eye bleeding stuff at times, really it was, but I said to my son before the game that I didn’t care how we played this week..I just wanted to win and we have done so I’m delighted. It was a case of 2 poor teams going head to head though, but we did have Tobi to thank for still being in the game, after another fantastic save in the First Half. Was it a penalty in the second…..we may have gotten away with one there, it looked it from my seat in the North Stand, but with the diving and time wasting that Airdrie showed, their fans have a cheek with the chants that followed. Fair play to McCann for the goal, I actually thought he had missed it initially, he seemed to slip just as he hit it, but I was in on cloud 9 when it hit the net. He’ll be happy with his goal, but surely not about his overall play which was better in the Second Half but very poor throughout. Most of what I was going to say has been covered above, but delighted to be able to have a few weeks looking above us now, rather than worry about below. Reply

I thought Comrie ran a close second, but I think the team generally stood up well. Lewis McCann is a dichotomy, as are most strikers. He has goals in him, and that`s what we need. The Kane substitution was a fairly obvious one. I`d like to see more movement off the ball by Dapo. He has good balance, so if he can create space for himself, he will score goals for us. Reply

I`ve no idea if McPake `cupped his ear` - I was too busy celebrating the goal - but, if he did, how does it compare with the abuse that is dished out on here every week to him and others who have no possibility to respond? Id love to know what you constitute as abuse…….Id say if folk were calling him a far, baldy, ugly b@stard then fair enough, thats uncalled for - but is that what the “abuse” is? Or is it just people fed up with us underperforming consistently and him not being very good at his job? In most lines of work, the customer is king, as they can sack anyone from the CEO downwards by spending their money (or not spending it in a footballing sense) elsewhere……managers in other companies would be out the door for under achieving on a weekly basis. Why is this different? Reply

In that case we should all pop along to customer services on Monday and ask for our money back as what we sold isn’t fit for purpose. Reply
