Im not there today but reportedly McPake seen cupping his ears in defiance to the fans after McCann scored?

Surely not? An utter embarrassment if true.

He did. Utter tool! Guy is lucky to even still be in a job. Most other clubs would have paid him off long ago.

Good i hope he did, u clearly are an utter tool u absolute fanny craddock

Intelligent response.

He’s supposed to be a professional football manager for christ sake. As others have said above. We’ve had to endure months of awful football/results and he’s got the cheek to turn to the fans and cup his ears. The same fans who are still turning up to endure this garbage and support the team.

If these investors get on board I hope the first thing they do is give him the boot because it’s been a long time coming.

So because he doesnt play to ur standards he deserved the amount of abuse he gets? Aye ok pal

Mcpake has had more than enough patience from the fans and only now is it starting to turn slightly ugly, i dont agree with personal abuse but its not something that has been significant from the usual football norm, abuse of his tactics and performance is fair game after watching a couple years of his guff

I would agree with that wee eck. If McCann stuck away 10 league goals a season you could forgive the occasional stinker of a performance.

Same goes for if he wasn’t scoring but was making loads of assists and putting quality balls in to the box and linking up play and generally being a real danger to the opposition.

For the vast majority of his career so far it’s been neither which is why some us us want to see better players playing in his position.

If he scored 10 league goals for us this season I would say he’s been a real asset. Hard to beleive that was only his 10th championship goal in pretty much 100 games at this level. That needs to improve.

Unfortunately if it was to improve he probably wouldn`t be at us. I said to a guy next to me you would be furious if you were Euan otoos agent he plays in many different positions in one game and can`t showcase his talents on a regular basis due to the lack of consistent positions he gets thrown into.

c'mon the pars

I don`t think it is quite as straightforward as that with McCann and his league goals. If you are going to though, then at least be accurate with his stats:

https://uk.soccerway.com/players/lewis-mccann/556049/
96 appearances in the Championship, 59 starts the rest coming off the bench. He`s been substituted in 30 of those starts as well. 10 goals scored, doesn`t mention assists.
5324 minutes in total on the pitch, meaning a goal every 523.4 minutes or every 6 full games.

Not fantastic stats, but then they need some context. Most of those appearances are a left winger, very few a central striker. Rarely has he played in central two and had any opportunity to establish some kind of partnership. He`s hardly been playing in many attacking Pars teams in his time either - yes he is part of them.

He does need to score more, but you could say that for all of our attackers, midfield players, even our defenders barely chip in with many goals.

Interesting buchresti, so to maintain his average based on minutes he’ll score 6 goals this season.

Yes others are not scoring but they don’t tend to have such variation in thier performances, McCann works his socks off but is very much capable of looking way out of his depth at this level with some terrible performances.

The poor control before the goal on sat was another example, this happens way too often, we just got lucky airdrie have a poor keeper. The other 8 teams in the league the keeper would have come picked it up and we may not have scored at all.

Still if it’s a catalyst for another goal in the next couple of games he’ll be halfway towards the 6!

I`ve heard it all now. We beat Raith because they had a man sent off. We`re the only team to have beaten Livi so they obviously didn`t turn up that night and now we only beat Airdrie because they have the worst keeper in the League! Do no other teams in the League benefit from these breaks we get?!!!

Fitba is also about confidence. Confidence comes with winning and scoring. It`s lost when the players are getting slagged off with every error and boos when we havent even lost a goal.

There are some loud voices who need to take a good look at themselves.
