62. Author: AdamAntsParsStripe Date: Sat 19th Jul 2025. 17:26 Very good performance from the Pars. Shea Kearney is going to be big for us. His deliveries into the box will be Christmas time for our strikers. Cooper, as I’ve said in previous threads should have been a regular a long time ago. He’s hungry and has the ability. Whatever else happens this season, scoring goals will not be an issue based on what I’ve seen. Zwei Pints Bier und ein Päckchen Chips bitte ![]() Reply |

That is the best I’ve seen us for a long time, despite the opposition being poor.r Kearney looked looks a real talent. Hope he starts against Hamilton. Andy Tod did well when he came on. Cooper was tremendous. Two good goals. Kane scored a cracker. Very encouraging. Reply |

65. Author: GJS93 Date: Sat 19th Jul 2025. 17:56 needed a big win and got it although it could have been more if they had been a bit better in the final third in the last 20 minutes. you will see a numberless shirt now and again cause of a blood injury, not often you see a shirt with no sponsor on it though, Fyfe cause of his age and who the sponsor is. 66. Author: Higgys Mohawk Date: Sat 19th Jul 2025. 18:00 The main thing that has impressed me about John Tod is that he is willing to take the responsibility of bringing the ball out of defence. Both by dribbling and passing through the lines. To have that confidence as a centre half is great to see. Reply |
67. Author: Indiapar1 Date: Sat 19th Jul 2025. 18:03 We have struggled against teams like Dumbarton in the past, so it was a good result in anybodies book. We were very good when we lost the ball, recovering and recycling it to manage the play better than previously. We moved the ball around well in tight positions and looked to go forward when we could. A solid performance overall and importantly with goals, and in particular, goals from outside the box. We have a good depth of squad, maybe 2 or 3 needed, for the league campaign. We controlled the game apart from the first 10 minutes or so. John Todd put in another solid performance, TOB again looks the part and Cooper looking sharp with two well taken goals. The midfield generally looked strong. They are playing with more confidence, driving forward, which is good to see. A good test against Hamilton coming up. It will give us a good idea where we are for the league campaign. Good to see a good confident performance today. G Wardrope Post Edited (Sat 19 Jul 19:28) Reply |

69. Author: bannerpar Date: Sat 19th Jul 2025. 18:16 Thought Kearney was the pick of the bunch. He`s quite direct so let`s hope that doesn`t get knocked out of him. It was a good performance but we`ll get a better measure of progress on Tuesday. Reply |
70. Author: Berkey Date: Sat 19th Jul 2025. 18:24 India that’s defo not the Dumbarton of the past, admin and relegation has gutted them of the best of the part timers they could usually attract. It’s a pleasing result right enough and the team is much changed alongside the shedding of the loser mentality so bodes really well, mainstays last season starting to look like the players who would drop out, that’s when you know you have improved. Hamilton the next test which is a much harder test than today but you can only beat what’s in front of you. Really keen to see how we stand up against the much bigger more physical teams in our own league where we won’t get the space to play etc but with a few more players still to come in everything pointing in the right direction. 71. Author: Angus_W Date: Sat 19th Jul 2025. 18:43 Great effort by the whole team & credit to NL. That was impressive to watch. Take a bow John Tod - You put Alan Hansen in the shade with that performance. Team looks good - well balanced, everyone wants the ball, confident in their approach. Next……. “.........it ain’t over till the Pars score!” Reply |

73. Author: shellypar Date: Sat 19th Jul 2025. 18:53 I think the context to look at here, as in the past even against weaker oppostion it doesnt seem to be as much of a gulf in quality as it should be so it is very good to see that even against lower league team we are showing far greater quality against these sides than before, that kearney looks a player, the tod brothers are very exciting and i hope the best for the future, amade is a class signing, cooper is showing us what we may have missed from him last season, its also good to see us converting chances, ik we only scored 1 against hearts however we look far far more clinical COYP Reply |
74. Author: Higgys Mohawk Date: Sat 19th Jul 2025. 18:53 We’ll get a proper idea where we are against Hamilton. Kearney will probably come in and start following his two sub appearances. Reply |
75. Author: jake89 Date: Sat 19th Jul 2025. 19:11 Massive positive was seeing Andrew Tod get a goal. Good to see both Tod brothers doing well in the team. We genuinely seem to have some good youngsters coming through, which shouldn`t be surprising after what Greg Shields said about all the lads a couple of seasons ago. Reply |

77. Author: hudza Date: Sat 19th Jul 2025. 20:06 Thought we were very good. Some cracking goals and a really good performance. Tougher tests will come but very happy with how we have played. Cooper, J.Tod and Gilmour were very good and Tod and Kearney in particular looked very sharp off the bench. Will be good to see us v Hamilton as they will be physical and have some decent players so will give a good indication of where we are at. Reply |
