Apparently payday iat Hamilton, could be interesting!

What happened to Aaron Comrie? He played as trialist for them, obviously can`t sign for them, so did no other club sign him yet?

It probably will indeed be the Edinburgh Gazette, which is online.

I think it`s the Metro, the notice has to go in the Gazette and one other publication.

If it is the gazette and it’s a recent date, that’s got to be worrying 🤷🏻‍♂️

I don’t know how to post a screenshot from an IPhone so I’ve just copied and pasted from the Edinburgh Gazzette online. Article is dated 29th August 2025.

Breaking rules to try and get around bans they have from breaking rules not once, but twice before.

They are very lucky the spfl didn’t throw the book at them and it’s only 6 points imo (unless that’s the maximum they are allowed to give for the offences)

Don`t the `fit and proper person` rules apply to directors of clubs who are consistently in breach of the rules? Is Jock Brown still involved with them?

I reckon that clears the way for Inverness to win League One quite comfortably, although congratulations to Stenny for being top of the league at the moment.

I think he`s still the chairman (although they are overdue with their filing at Companies House. Perhaps they have other things on their mind, or no-one takes these deadlines seriously.

I thought there was another J Brown involved with the Accies, whom I guessed to be his son (without any real evidence). [Edit - this other John Brown is too old to be Jock`s son]

As far as I can gather, from a quick skim of the 470 page thread on P&B, the stadium is owned by one party but the club by another. They appear to have fallen out hence why the Accies are playing at Broadwood.

Accies fans seem split on how to achieve the goal of Accies playing in Hamilton. There are rumours of possible takeovers, but there is a lot of misinformation being circulated.

Seems incredibly lenient, they`re basically constantly bending and breaking every rule.

Something doesn`t sit right here, shouldn`t they be asking where the money to pay full time players is coming from? They have gates of less than 300 , no shirt sponsor.

Surely paying amateur players under the counter is a criminal offence? That alone is enough to boot them out.

I don’t think that’s really obvious given Hamilton were joint top with Stenhousemuir before today.
6 points isn’t a lot to overhaul at this early stage.

Inverness are sitting just behind Stenny, despite having themselves been deducted 5 pts. You have to think they`ll be champions on current form.
Presumably, Accies will no longer be able to play those players they aren`t entitled to play.....

If Hamilton are to be without players that they were paying (are they? I didn’t see anything specific) - the 4/1 for a QoS win might be looking generous…

They stopped playing the guys wrongly signed under amateur contracts weeks ago once the hearing was called and they`re still doing well on the park.
