Yep.

Lennon post interview "He`s on a yellow card and you can`t go throwing himself into tackles on a yellow card"

The ref and main stand lino were utter guff, but, both Mullens bookings were correct.

He never touched the player for second booking.

He did! Might not look it from the TV gantry position, but he did

There’s a view from pitch side on Brodie ferguson’s tiktok that shows he clearly wins the ball.

I’ll have a look at this 👍🏻

I’m just going by what I saw at the time, and it’s what the linesman saw as well. I think I agree with Lennon regardless, he’s on a yellow, he can’t be going into challenges like that

To be fair, Lennon was interviewed after the game and only seen the incident from the far touchline.
It was a foul at the very worst but not a yellow card.
I might be wrong but I maintain he was sent off for dissent and not the challenge.

the latest .NET scapegoat it seems. it was a 50/50 challenge that both player connected with each other at the same time. at worst a foul and free kick.

It was 100% not for dissent. Player stayed on the park after treatment, so had to be for the challenge.

Was never a booking, ref had a stinker.

Am I missing something. Why is that a reason for it not to be dissent?

Because the new rules say if a player injured you and is carded, you don`t have to leave the field after treatment.

This. If it was dissent, the player wasn`t booked for injuring the player, so he would have had to go off.

That would be the case if the ref knew what he was doing but on that showing he clearly doesn’t.

It was Lino that told the ref it was a foul.

That’s why there was as delay.

If he had a first touch then he wouldn`t be in the Scottish Championship

The second challenge is not a yellow card , Various videos going g about show that, the referee and lino buckled under the pressure of rabid Ayr players shouting for the red card

Didn’t take you lot long did it? The young lad has just started his whole football career and making mistakes and making unwise decisions comes with that. You do know that right? I’d like to see what some of you roasters were like in your first jobs. Were you already brilliant? I bet some of you adults are still hopeless at what you do. Mullen has massive potential and anyone with any clue knows that. The problem with football fans is that a massive amount of them don’t have a clue. Get off the lads back and have a word with yourselves. Players at this level will make mistakes. What are you honestly expecting?

Zod it hasn’t helped that he was immense when he first joined last season so set such a high bar that once below it, it gets noticed.

The key here is he’s learning, next time he’s on a booking he hopefully won’t give the ref a decision to make again whether that’s with his mouth lunge.

That’s harsh. Even the very best players can take a poor touch.
He’s a good player. His decision making at times lets him down, but more experience will resolve that.
