It is understood Dunfermline have been told that they should have had a penalty.

And it is also expected that Collum will speak to the officials involved to highlight future improvements."

It has left the Pars feeling vindicated by their annoyance over the incident with Kane, who instantly remonstrated with Nicolson and visibly indicated what had happened.

But they are also exasperated over another big call not going their way at the time.

It is the second time already this season that the East End Park men have been officially told the referee has made a potentially game-changing error in one of their league games"

There`s no doubt we haven`t had the rub of the green so far this season. As fans you accept stuff like hitting the bar, missing chances, etc because, at the end of the day, they are down to the players, but refereeing decisions seeming to consistently go against you are another matter.

Agreed Wee Eck. Hopefully, these decisions will start to go for the team in the weeks ahead. It`s such fine lines in these games that they should not ultimately be won or lost on refereeing decisions. It perhaps highlights that other teams see Dunfermline as a threat. We are improving game on game so hopefully our football will do the talking and get us up there into the playoffs

What really annoys me about the admission is that the violent conduct by Cacereres would never had happened if Thistle were down to 10.
Those are the breaks, I suppose, but they just never seem to go our way at present.

It also wouldn`t have happened if he wasn`t getting dragged into it by a Patrick player grabbing his shirt and pulling him towards him. The game was a complete farce.

Refs are not covering themselves in glory this season. They actually seem to be getting worse.

One good thing from last nights game was the ref going back to deal with a Greek diver and then actually booking another player for remonstrating with him.
