I don’t know if anyone agrees but I think we are stinking up front the past two games.
Zak and Morrison look like strangers and have no connection.
Both of them need benched and have even an unfit Kane and Todd up there instead.
It is blindingly obvious

Morrison is a winger and as Livi fans said when he signed will be decent but doesnt try hard enough after a while and is injured..
Kane can only last 20 mins and it’s ok in a Scottish cup against lower opposition but will he perform against top championship sides?

When you say Todd do you mean Tod? I don’t know if you’ve noticed but Tod has barely done anything for about 2-3 months now.

Rudden has gone off the boil after promising start, his first touch is ropey but last week the service he got was very poor. What we could have done with is the Queen’s Park striker who just went to the saints. We’re crying out for pace to help us get up the park. You can also see how far ahead Barney was of who we currently have.

It’s early days but I hope there’s more to Morrisons game than just workrate.

I have faith we’ll have better options up there next season, players who can stay fit and have quality, they didn’t try to get others in but it never happened. Also Tod will be better next season for having had this seasons experience.

The post below replying to me is by one of .nets finest champions of mediocrity!

I don`t think they got much service today and they looked decent at Perth. Rudden will be out for a while now anyway. Morrison I thought has been pretty good and will get better, his movement and first touch is good, even if his final pass/cross/shot hasn`t been there so far. He took a great touch to take the ball out of the air and play in Kane for the shot that hit the bar twice.

Can we get enough minutes from Kane for the rest of the season? Thomas looked useful against Hibs, Cooper did well to setup the second - maybe he can return to his early season form.

He made some good runs in the first half, however his teammates were happy to pass sideways. His substitution was baffling imo

They basically are. Theyve only played two half games together.

Kane yet again showing he`s the only credible striker at the club. He should be getting far mnore minutes. Proper goal scorer.

Andy Tod should be nowhere near that first team just now. So poor yet again. He been miles of it for months now.

Andy Tod is clearly lacking in confidence but not ability. He could do with not falling over at every opportunity though, there was a Billy the Fish flop on the edge of the box today which was cringeworthy when there was an actual opportunity for a hungry player

The BBC highlights show he should have had a penalty in the 1st half.

Looked a blatant penalty in the highlights.

Where are these highlights? The ones on BBC Sport are barely 3 minutes and show very little apart from the disallowed `goal` and the goals that counted.

They were just on BBC One. The studio spoke about the stonewall penalty.

Andy Tod remember was just an option to fill in as a striker when we were very short of fit strikers but did very well initially on the scoring front but i wouuld suggest that is not his best position. Still in yesterdays match i would say that he should have earned us a penalty and he also won a tackle out on the ruight wing and sent Kearney away who crossed to Kane for the second goal. He hasnt played a full season injury free so he may be feeling it a bit and maybe that was why he was given a rest yesterday although it didnt work out that way.I also think his running style (just like his fathers) tends to make people think he is knackered even at start of match but it is just the way he moves. So far this season he has done really well for the team in most games in my opinion.

Fans seem to forget that Andrew Tod is still learning the game but NL has decided he is good enough to do that whilst being part of the first-team squad. He won`t learn much sitting on the bench. He might have got a bit of a rest yesterday but circumstances changed that. With Rudden likely to be out long-term he`s likely to be heavily involved for the rest of the season.

As much as I hope Zak makes a full recovery, there is little doubt in my head he’s been a major disappointment since coming back.
Headless chicken comes to mind and has zero connection with Morrison.
Kane showed how it should be done being a center forward. Not just that he scored at least twice but his movement and communication.

Think you are being harsh with a striker for us getting little or no service ,the guy puts in a shift , maybe look to the midfield or defence for the poor service

Andy Tod won a penalty that wasn`t given. He took two defenders out of the way for Kane`s first goal and his skill and tenacity on the wing took two Kelty players out of play and his pass sent Cooper clear to create the second goal.

I don`t think he had a great game, but he always makes a contribution.
