22. Author: Kozmano1 Date: Sat 14th Feb 2026. 07:40 It was rumoured that the transfer of Fraser to Livingston fell through because they couldn’t afford his 4k a week wage demands. Who knows what the actual wage structure is? Post Edited (Sat 14 Feb 07:41) Reply
23. Author: Lesliepartoo Date: Sat 14th Feb 2026. 07:44 Anyone wanting promotion this year is crazy. We are nowhere near ready to go up. We would be the Livingston next season getting whipped each week. We will win the league next year and be in a far better place for the spl the following season. Cmon ye pars Reply

26. Author: hudza Date: Sat 14th Feb 2026. 08:09 It’s been a lot better than the German era. Yes we are inconsistent but we have a very young squad and at least you can see what we are trying to do. Players like Mullen, Fraser, Nuradeen and Gilmour have been brilliant this season and may all go on to bigger clubs over the coming years. We do need to improve in the attacking third and maybe change how we play against more defensively minded teams coming to EEP but I’m pretty sure that will come. Reply
27. Author: Sacktheref69 Date: Sat 14th Feb 2026. 08:26 I’ve always wondered what makes a signing a statement signing, apart from the name on the back of the shirt. Was wanyama a marquee signing? He was a disaster. Gilmour is, in my opinion, one of the top three midfielders in the league, and Robbie Fraser is in the conversation for best left back in the league too. Neither of them was really seen as a “marquee” or “statement” signings. This is Andy Tod`s world and we are lucky to live in it. Reply
28. Author: Indiapar1 Date: Sat 14th Feb 2026. 08:57 I think its been said a few times its small steps and progression and development. I think its one tging bringing in proven experienced players, or statement players but at the end of the day, we have been that route before and it got the club into financial trouble. We need to find or develop our own statement players and give players the opportunity to learn and develop to be just that. NL has alot of experience in the game both as a player and a manager, so we are very lucky to have him at the club in my view. He can manage and motivate players snd give them a platform to improve and progress their careers in the game if they want it. You have to align objectives to be successful, those of players, management and owners. Its interesting the disappointment in the performance against Kelty, but mirror that with the fact that we are in the quarter finals of the cup for the first time in 17 years having knocked out a premiership club. Thats the measure of the progression and ambition of the club for me G Wardrope Reply

| 30. Author: sonofpetrie Date: Sat 14th Feb 2026. 09:06 GG Riva, Sat 14 Feb 07:03 It`s not readily available GG. You only have to be friends with one or two of the players to know. And before everyone jumps on and says "that`s confidential" etc we all know in reality that work mates talk and people find out salaries. Is it really hard to believe that he earns around £100 an hour for a working week? I know what everyone earns at my work. I shouldn`t but I do. I also know it was a sore point for me back at the start of my tenure when I earned much less than some colleagues. It took a long time to secure CK`s services at the start if we recall and there was a good reason for that. He was training with us for quite some time whilst his agent tried to secure him the most lucrative deal. Mcpake and McKay did this in the end but after the change in management ,even less ability to train and the obvious strict work ethic NL brings you can see why there is a bit of disharmony as a result. The domino effect now is we are trying to secure JCM as a player and his agent is looking for MORE than CK earns. Whether we are successful in this or even want to commit to such a deal remains to be seen. These businessmen in charge are multimillionaires for a very good reason. NL`s statements constantly reminding the fans that this will take time is not as simple as him admitting we need better players. It`s also because he wants to build a squad of players with a recognisable structure with a certain amount of parity and possibility of progression for the players. For what it`s worth I think CK is a superb player and when we do get to see him play, and invariably score, I love it. I wish I could wave a wand that meant he didn`t have the injury issues he does. | 31. Author: KnebworthPar Date: Sat 14th Feb 2026. 09:07 Plenty of ambition being shown by the club and it’s fantastic to see. An earlier thread showed the players out of contract in the summer and there’s not many in there that I think will be here next season. Lennon saying now isn’t the time to discuss contracts while at the same time giving Terrell a new one speaks volumes. Will be a big summer: Reply |

34. Author: Jock Par36 Date: Sat 14th Feb 2026. 09:40 Do not see where there is a lack of ambition. We are in with a fair chance of a play off spot. We are in the quarter finals of the Scottish cup. We have beaten Raith Rovers and St Johnstone away from home and Let`s not forget beating a top Premiership team in Hibs. Admittedly it was a bit of a damper losing to Airdrie but nevertheless I think we are heading in the directions. Reply
35. Author: parsmad68 Date: Sat 14th Feb 2026. 09:44 I don’t like to focus on individual players salaries especially against performance, but imagine we didn’t have Chris Kane’s goals last year. Where does anyone think DAFC would have been playing their football this year. He is not playing regularly this year but still pitching in with a fair amount of goals. Worth his weight in gold I would say. Reply

Their wage bill will likely be higher than ours but they are more than balancing the books transfer fee wise I`d say. I would like them to blow it but they look nailed on for going back up. Reply |
38. Author: SeasonedPar Date: Sat 14th Feb 2026. 11:45 The marquee signing is Neil Lennon. I never thought we’d secure a manager of his quality and experience (I hated him as a player), but he’s attracted by the challenge of a long term project and commitment from the owners and we’re only 1 year in. Howsoever, we’ve secured a lot of promising young players, when was the last season we had games postponed because of international call-ups, the new pitch looks so much better, and the entire club looks on the up. Meantime, most sensible Pars fans would agree that we’re not the finished article, but for the 1st time in many years, we’re enjoying the football. Lack of ambition? Give your head a shake. Reply
