Think Turley would give us a bit of bite in midfield can’t be any worse than the present midfielders

Absolutely dreadful. Thomas, Terrell and Turley emerge with some credit after that, the rest were between poor and awful.

It will be difficult to win any game when all 3 centre backs make a critical error. Abdulai for the 1 penalty, Ngwenya for his red card and then JCM for the clumsy handball.

Both wings backs were dreadful, especially Kearney. There is no creativity in a midfield 3 of Gilmour, Amade and Todd. Morrison was poor as well but isn`t suited to the role being asked of him.

We are very easy to defend against. Perhaps we move to a back 4 so we can play 2 of Morrison/Bray/Andy Tod as wide forwards?

I think when you arent playing well you dont get the rub of the green whether that penalty decisions going for you or against you. If you are putting pressure on the oposition and getting balls into the box, you are much more likely to get penalties. We are just too paadive, dont apply concerted pressure (unless we are a goal or two down) so penalties and decisions in you favour are less likely to come along. You have to let the oposition know they are in a game and we havent done that recently.

You can see from the highlights that we take too many touches on the ball giving the opposition tthose few seconds to reorganise we.dont get forward and drive into space, lack of anticipation in the final third, back to goal when receiving the ball in the final third with nobody running off the ball. Thats why we lack a goal threat in my view.

Geezo, Morrison signing is baffling, we don’t play with wingers so we’ve brought in a winger who doesn’t have any pace, a trick or decent delivery but he runs about a lot!

No wonder we’re hopeless in the final third!

I don’t think he’s the new scapegoat in fairness. I just think people find it strange to sign a winger and then constantly play him out of position. More often than not, players are less effective when playing in an unnatural role. It also doesn’t help that we’re using five at the back, with two thirds of the midfield sitting deep, which leaves him with little to no service. Playing Copper as a 10, or even as one of the midfield three, could help address the lack of forward movement.

This is Andy Tod`s world and we are lucky to live in it.

Our (many) other attacking mids are decent young players & neat on the ball, Morrison offers something a bit different, he has loads of energy, demands the ball & tries to make things happen, there`s definitely a need for a player like him in our team

Need to make big changes for Saturday imo.

Back 4. Todd JCM Bene Abdulia

Mid 4. Morrison Gilmour Turley Fraser

Kane Thomas/Cooper

It won’t happen though. With Ngwenya suspended and Otoo having an ankle problem then it might but if Otoo is fit it will be a back 5 again.

Gilmour/Amade does not work. Really disappointed with Amade after a bright start to the season.

Whatever team takes the field we simply must get a result…..

What an opportunity we missed in 2014.

3 centre half’s and a midfielder in a back 4? No thanks.

4-2-3-1 with Morrison coming into play on the wing seemed logical at the time. Been crying out for a decent left sided midfielder for ages, granted he primarily plays on the right but he switched flanks at Falkirk quite regularly.

Creativity and a playmaker in the final third is still the big achilles heel. As i said previously you can see why they pushed the boat out so much for Easton in the summer.

With what we have i'd like to see a fit Cooper get a shot in that #10 spot.

There`s no way Abdulai (or anyone) starts at LB if Fraser is available.

Lennon has said before that we can only play a back 4 if Kearney is playing, he is available but with him getting hooked at HT last game I think Matty will get the nod and it`ll be as RWB in a back 5.

People have criticised Lennon for sticking to a back 5, but remember he was open to switching to a back 4 earlier in the season when Kearney was fit.

I think the only changes we`ll see will be Bene in for Ngwenwa, A Tod in for Kearney and possibly Hamilton in for Amade, same formation.

So 1 person who doesn`t rate him makes him a scapegoat?
