| 73. Author: Jeffery Date: Tue 17th Feb 2026. 20:44 Teams know that if they push men up in wider areas (even if it`s just two forwards) then the full backs can`t get forward. It`s the same reason why our record is so abysmal against Partick. Moffat is roasting Fraser. Our only hope is that he tires and Kane can come on and hold up the long balls the defence are shelling forward. For all the play we see across the back (`looking for a gap` as Tidser used to say) it still often ends punted long forward and just comes straight back. Reply |

Amade has had some lovely direct balls through which I think players like Cooper and Andy Tod would do more with. Once again relying on too many crosses in from out wide and not having anyone on the end of them (unlike Chris Kane who is on the bench). Reply |

Not a good return on investment so far and if this keeps up you would include the manager in that as he made some really poor choices recently. We haven’t rectified the problems from last year or the year before. We’re relatively tight at the back but that because we are so defensive. Devoid of everything in the top half of the park.
