Jeffery, Tue 17 Feb 22:35

Post match interview now on club website.

Disagree with a lot of what he says.

Its the players and refs fault and none of the fault lies with his tactics or formations.

Blame everyone else for his poor management.

Bringing in Thomas and loaning out C. Young, who scored again this evening, doesn`t seem to have worked out very well. It seems some players get more of a chance than others.

C.Young was stinking in the games he played in this division, maybe he has found his level 2 divisions below.

Is this the same Connor Young who has scored 30 of his 41 total goals in League 2 and is yet to score in the Championship in 12 appearances?

I don’t agree that the tactics are completely faultless. I think it’s a case of horses for courses, but it’s the same tactics that saw us beat Hibs and St Johnstone. Cooper had a really good start to the season, was given a new deal, got injured and has been missing ever since. Todd isn’t the answer either. He has had chances at right back and now at 10, and he’s not showing enough to deserve a new deal.

I’m genuinely puzzled by the Morrison signing though. We sign a winger and try to shoehorn him into a system and position that isn’t his natural one. I don’t get that at all, to be honest.

This AI tool is leaving a lot to be desired at the minute. We really needed to strengthen at right back and striker in January, and we have failed to do so. If Thomas, who I thought was the best of a bad bunch last night, is the best that was available, then we are really in bother.

As I said on the Ambitious thread, we are not ready to go up. The squad isn’t good enough, and we are too inconsistent to stay up if we got there. I do hope we get better next season, but this is probably the first time I’ve had doubts about Lennon. He doesn’t seem to want to change from a system when it’s abundantly clear it’s not working. He assembled this squad as well, so he can’t moan that he doesn’t have the tools available. Just another poor performance, and on the back of the last two poor performances, we definitely need to rethink things.

This is Andy Tod`s world and we are lucky to live in it.

I usually agree with Lennons interviews as they are normally pretty accurate however for him to say this isn’t a tactical issue and purely down to mentality is way off.

The set up works in the big games but you need to adapt for certain matches.

We are crying out for some width in games, change it up a bit.

Play 4 at the back, 3 in midfield, 2 wingers and a striker.

People are saying Morrison hasn’t earned his wages, that’s because he’s a winger playing out of position because we didn’t strengthen up top.

Morrisons best football at Falkirk was playing out wide.

Pathetic performance, but don’t BOO though.

Nobody could defend that performance, Westie. We can boo all we like to vent our frustration, but it won`t make the players perform any better.

That might depend on their attitude, for some it might put them in their shell, others might take a look at themselves and understand what`s acceptable as a bare minimum as a Pars player and realise they were well short of that last night.

They take the plaudits when things go well ( and the fans have been outstanding), they should understand the criticism when they have been out-fought, out-played and out-worked.

Spot on getting out-fought and out-worked is unacceptable.

I can take losing a game if we’re out-played based on football but lack of work rate, commitment and determination is unacceptable.

I`m not sure that`s true.

If it’s a competitive game but the only reason we lose is due to some quality play etc….or a piece of individual brilliance I can accept that the better team won.

What I’ve seen recently isn’t the case, soft goals, getting out worked, not trying to score at all. That I can’t accept.

I was surprised how well Morton played. Several Pars players ended up looking bang average. I am no tactician, but even to me eyes, it seemed the shape of the team was wrong in the first half. Morton could easily have been ahead by 2 or 3.

The only positive was the players made a decent effort after the sending off.

I don`t dispute any of that, but the players will know that that team performance was nowhere near good enough and unless they`re completely deluded, will know their own performance wasn`t good enough. And if any of them were in any doubt, I`m certain Lennon will have put them right after the game.

If fans must boo, I think it`s probably best to do it after the final whistle.

Embarressment against a bang average team, far to lightweight in midfield Amade may be an internationalist but doesn,t have a physical side to his game , no attacking midfielders and a powderpuff front line , play Morrison where he is happy out wide, think Turley should be given a run looked like he has a bit of guts about him which can,t be said for some of of the others

Thought Turley did well when he came on, had a bit of intensity and quality that we lacked for most of the game. I`d need to see it back but it looked like Andy Tod should`ve had a penalty as well.

For me Lennon has to tweak the system, I think it works well in games against "better" teams but for most of the championship it`s far too passive. Get the likes of Morrison, Bray, Càceres out wide where they belong and stretch teams out.

We`re so easy to defend right now because the ball gets to the wingback who has nothing in front of him so has to play a low percentage pass or cross into the middle. I agree the players aren`t doing enough, but the manager has to put them in a better position to perform.

We`ve had absolutely nothing from referees this season, whether that`s because of Lennon`s comments or not but the red card decision looks incredibly harsh. Not that it would`ve made a difference as both penalties for Morton looked like stonewallers to me and the team deserved nothing from the game.

I think we will be forced into a 3-5-1 for saturday. We struggle to score in other formations so may as well defend for a 0-0 to stop the losing streak. We may have a bit of luck and try and snatch a goal if we can break quickly

Would it not be wise to start with 10 outfield players?

Saves the hassle of reorganising when someone gets sent off.

"People are saying Morrison hasn’t earned his wages, that’s because he’s a winger playing out of position because we didn’t strengthen up top"

he was signed to play through the middle.

"Morrisons best football at Falkirk was playing out wide"

in league one and also before he got an injury which Falkirk fans say he lost his pace, Iain Wilson is hardly Usain Bolt and was beating him for pace last night.

If Morrison was signed to play up front that says a lot about how poor our recruitment is.

Morrison would be better suited out wide getting the balling the box, he doesn’t have the instinct of a finisher.

It looks like he was brought in to provide some energy upfront.

Recruitment has been terrible this window, Turley however showed glimpses last night that he should be starting on Saturday.
