| 42. Author: Jealous Furniture Date: Tue 24th Feb 2026. 20:35 Matty Todd in the middle can make a difference, he`s the one midfielder we have that can cover the ground in front of Gilmour & Turley. We can`t play just those two in the middle and give Partick the extra man Reckon we might see Kearney on at RB & JCM move back to CB? Reply |

Was thinking the same myself. Never seems to drive forward and was posted missing in Centre mid in the build up to their goal. Even our best players , Fraser is another one, seem to be going backwards. Lacking confidence obviously. Very worrying. Morrison ? Did anyone from the Pars watch him at Linfield ? Couldn’t possibly. He is dire.. What an opportunity we missed in 2014. Reply |
| 45. Author: wetherby Date: Tue 24th Feb 2026. 20:41 Matty Todd, Mullen , Morrison all having complete stinkers so far. Where is the desire the passion the aggression - nowhere. Players keep turning back and passing the ball back so slow and allows Thistle to get every man behind the ball. Reply |
| 46. Author: wulliepar57 Date: Tue 24th Feb 2026. 20:41 we are not getting any breaks , because you have to anticipate and make things happen instead of standing back waiting on things happening , we are also snatching at things when we just need a bit of composure , some good play at times but we are too slow never on the front foot or in about PT , It`s hard to see where a goal will come from at present , we need to go up a couple of gears and get into them we are standing too far off them and get into Ashcroft too ,he is slow so get it past him and you have half a chance , his strength is in the Air pretty sure NL will be getting into them to gee them up Cmon Ye Pars we need a change of fortune get into them Reply |

| 48. Author: Paralex Date: Tue 24th Feb 2026. 20:42 My Thistle supporting friend has got this game won already. Imagine us giving way to a very average Partick Thistle. If I could get into the dressing room right now I`d give them all a right good kicking ( verbal of course) and tell them there`s no way we`re losing this game, in fact we`re winning it. If we can`t turn the tide tonight, when will we? Time to start winning or die trying. Reply |
| 49. Author: FA1968 Date: Tue 24th Feb 2026. 20:45 Looked lost until we changed shape, zero attempts is telling though. Weirdly hopeful of getting back into this as we do look a lot better at 442, strange the manager hasn’t picked up that if you tie up our wing backs in a 352 we have nothing, as the first 30 minutes showed. Here’s hoping for an improved 2nd half and a goal…….attempt. Reply |

| 51. Author: Berkey Date: Tue 24th Feb 2026. 20:46 Desperado, morrison feels like a total shot in the dark, barely played at this level before and it’s looking like another largely ineffective player signed up on a long contract. If that’s the level Lennon seems good enough best get cozy in the bottom half of the championship. There’s defo a confidence issue and the players lack resilience when it goes against them. But if we get the next goal it could turn the game around. As per the previous 3 seasons, still missing quality where it counts, crazy when you think about the turnaround of players we’ve seen.
