Topic: Ban them from the Cup Final

Otherwise we’re likely to see pitch invasion, intimidation of players and no further SFA action.

And that’s whether we’re winning 5-0 or they’ve scored a dodgy last minute winner.

The pitch invasion is fine if that was all it was, but it`s the confrontation or abuse of the opposing team that crosses a line for me.

Its never going to happen, so no point in trying 🤷🏻‍♂️ they could attack Doncaster in the stadium and they’d get away with it

Cocaine and football are a dangerous combination.

Basically every single club supporter across the UK other than Celtic fans will be cheering us on next weekend

It`s not fine, fans should not be on the pitch - period.

If football authorities are not going to deal with this issue directly, when will the government step in, as we, the taxpayer have to support injured officers who are only doing their job, will miss work, NHS costs, city clean up, etc. so tired of the excuses and ignorance of the clubs attitude to this behaviour.

I have a plan. We knock in an early goal. Everyone invades the pitch, smacks a Maeda or someone in the face. Full time is blown. We win the cup.

the SFA are too scared of either of the old firm. if hearts had done it then they would have had a statement out by now. The prague derby was a similar situation. they club has been docked points and no longer won the league

Looks like Scotland adopting rules on length of a game, FT cos not like hearts would score, was essentially what O’Neill said - although I suspect he will have forgotten he said that. He also confirmed 4th official said 1 minute to go, so ref ended game early which is abandonment. Rumours he blew
FT no he never but that’s what league will say. That’s ibrox did park and again today similar behaviours by Celtic and media almost ignore it, if this were teams
Outside of Celtic rangers they would be hammered, we all know it.
Hopefully every team in league ban Celtic fans from all away games due fo safety for players and officials and other fans, 70year women assaulted by Celtic fan at Motherwell game, protecting grandson being attacked by 7 Celtic fans.. every week this happens, same 2 teams.

I`m sure your post is very tongue in cheek, SP, and you know very well there`s no chance of that happening. Those running our game can hide behind the rules. Celtic fans invaded the pitch in a Premiership game, which comes under the jurisdiction of the SPFL. The Scottish Cup is a competition run by the SFA, so the SPFL can`t ban any club from it.

In the old days, after a goal the kick off had to be taken before the game ended.

Especially before the final whistle.

Stewards clearly can’t prevent pitch invasions, so Celtic should be forced to install fencing or play games behind closed doors.

I know there’s no chance, GG, but everyone in the country now solidly behind the Pars. That includes some decent cellic fans who’re equally fed up with the board, it’s poor decisions, the association with corruption and the dreadful behaviour of those morons.

Up until yesterday I was quite looking forward to taking my 2 grandsons and my son to Hampden. Hoping for a fun day and maybe a Pars win. I’m now worried about being subjected to abuse and possibly having to run the gauntlet of Celtic fans, if it doesn’t go their way ( or even if it does).
The display yesterday actually sickens me., knowing the Powers that be will air brush it away, using let’s focus on the national team and get behind them ****.
I’ve been watching football for over 70 years, all over the continent never really worried about going to matches.
I Spoke to my son today and he echoed my thoughts wish we weren’t going, but for the sake of my grandkids seeing their team in a cup final.
Am I alone ?

It does make you apprehensive, after watching that yesterday. Can’t blame our fans for that. But I am not going to let some idiotic behaviour from a few,to stop me watching my team in a final.Just hope police are on their toes.

Indeed - next Hearts visit to Parkhead behind closed doors - likewise Celtic`s at Ibrox in response to the cup semi final nonsense.

I wholeheartedly agree that the Scottish Government should step in and hold the SFA and therefore the clubs to account, but I anticipate no action apart from some soundbites condemning the behavior. The whole system is rigged from the league set up to the disgraceful behaviour of old firm fans. As long as these two teams play in Scotland the system is only there to advance them and their pernicious aims and behaviours. How great it would be if clubs banded together set up a new league structure and excluded the old firm, pie in the sky I know, but one can dream. We need to be safe on Sarurday but increasingly I detect many fans admitting to not looking forward to the cup final and having to share a stadium with these people, and that is a terrible shame.

It was the footage on the bbc Scotland news yesterday of the hearts players getting off the team bus back at Tynecastle still wearing their strips that got me. They weren’t able to get changed in the dressing room at Celtic park or do any post match media work because of infringement by fans.

That’s completely unacceptable.
