Only other thing I did when I rebooted was reset my VPN. I`m in France so thought just turning it off (from UK setting) would be ok but I got it to pick another french server to make sure it had a new IP address.

Might be irrelevant coincidence.

I bought an annual subscription earliier today. System isn`t recognising it and still asking me to pay. Can`t get to see the stream at all. Not a great start. I have written to enquiries@dafc.co.uk to complain. No response yet.

I`ve no clue, but that`s two people mentioned having VPNs turned on. Could it be it`s set up to detect if someone is using a VPN and blocking them to prevent people in the UK using it? People abroad shouldn`t need a VPN to view, only to stop the government accessing your data 🕴️

The new website / DAFC Live is utterly humming. Trying to get it to work felt like using internet from 20 years ago.

It seems the stream started working from the 18th minute. This is just Pars TV rebranded, but at least Pars TV worked.

How’s it a rebrand when you’re not using the platform provided by Brian this season?

The half time feature was pretty decent to be fair. Better than just watching first half replays for 15 mins. Fair play.

This is a supposed to be run by a professional third party company. 🤷

Why, as a club, do we seem incapable of making improvements that actually work for the fans? The website, streaming service and the quality of the club attire all leave plenty to be desired.

This is Andy Tod`s world and we are lucky to live in it.

Stream and quality of service was excellent from 18th minute onwards. Commentary, camera work and replays all streets ahead of the previous service, if we are honest. It`s obviously not good enough to miss the first quarter of the game but I`ll judge them in a few weeks time

Let`s move on from discussing patstv. It was consistently incredibly frustrating. I`m confident the new service will be much better.

If the club`s provider is Urban Zoo, it is difficult to understand the difficulty in getting the stream live to overseas Pars fans who had already paid for a season long pass. 18 minutes into the game before the live stream becomes available. What is going on behind the scenes? Is it actually Urban Zoo or an entity sub-contracted by Urban Zoo?

I really hate having my chain yanked by endless attempts at trying to connect etc.
