They’ve started popping up again tbf It’s early in the season. There’s a huge turn around in the squad but the core of the squad is the same. We’ll do fine this season. As much fun as the Scottish cup final was you could make the argument it hindered the league. I’m really not fussed about being in the league cup - I’ll judge us on the league. COYP Reply |

Starting to ask questions of Lennon for not changing things, it`s been so clear over the first couple games in the league that this formation and personnel doesn`t get us forward enough. Reply |

Slow, sideways, then misplace a pass, moan at each other, repeat? 5 at the back doesn`t seem to be working at all. Not sure what A.Tods role is meant to be in the system either, is mostly anonymous, needed to finish that chance. Amade had a good game, the subs made a difference. Not seeing much improvement so far this season, I don`t think the system works and I don`t think the players are able to play their best. Reply |

Author: nick_dafc1 Date: Sat 15th Aug 2026. 17:00 Pars Athletic, Sat 15 Aug 16:56 We`ve got about 35 players on our books plus all these extra coaches bene etc. Instead of trying to unearth someone to sell on for a profit which rarely happens at this level, would have been better spending the wage budget on 22 players that can get us promoted then when your in SPL you can be Motherwell etc and trade players for money. We love talking about the project were building but in fact were not going anywhere. Reply |

| 77. Author: WYPar Date: Sat 15th Aug 2026. 17:03 It’s time to change that formation surely. The back three completely restricts us and means we offer nothing going forward at all. We looked miles better after the changes in the second half, but then the defence just went to sleep for their second, which is a shame. I’d like to see Cooper get a chance to start games. He always makes a difference when he comes on and made us look more dangerous today. Also whoever certified that referee needs their head examining. Embarrassingly inept performance throughout. | 78. Author: Berkey Date: Sat 15th Aug 2026. 17:03 It’s never going to work playing 2 strikers and Tod in behind. Tod just doesn’t do enough. Can’t wait for Abdulai to come back and the other Tod can drop out. Plenty new boys and it will take time to bed them in but this is defo now Lenny’s team and squad and he’s got the biggest budget any of our managers have had in a lang time, he should be able to earn his money and put out a team that look decent and competes. If we have to change out set up and formation every game it suggests it’s not working and is to easy to play against. Plus point is Allan looked good, surely we’ll change formation to accommodate him in attacking midfield with Gilmour and amade going forward.
